Very insightful. You should look into a career as a writer.

stop using injuries as an excuse. a good team overcomes it's injuries by depth, which is a direct result of player development, which is the responsibility of the coaching staff.

We are an average football team that made an Arkansas team look like Tom Osborne's Cornhuskers. We have been blown off of the line of scrimmage against every good team we have played, and some of the average teams we have played like AIR FORCE.

what would not having the bar fight have accomplished? did Coker have a good half? I didn't watch the game. would the two players suspended for whole games have prevented a 31-14 loss?

It is you who should find another team to pull for. Obviously, you are not all that concerned with winning so you'd probably be just as happy cheering for MTSU or Memphis. Why not quit bringing down the Vols by supporting mediocrity? You'd still have a nice in-state team to cheer for and those of us who want to see the Vols win some championships while we still wander the earth could get on with business?

it would be great if we were all as insightful as hat.
Yes, it would. But that's an awfully lofty standard. I would simply like for the Fulmerites to remove their heads from their rectums. I realize they are deeply embedded, but medical science is progressing everyday. I believe there is hope.

Maybe in the future, Hat, especially if we can get out of Iraq and allocate more money to medical research. However, at present, the condition is unfortunately....terminal.

We have no depth  . That just blows me away. Last two games I have just been amaze how a program like Tennessee has no depth.
My question is, Why are players like Bolden, Ayers.....etc. not ready? They have been in the program for almost three years. I mean Bolden if enrolled when he was supposed to he would be a jr.!:ill_h4h:

Ever thought of using spell checker. No wonder they think we still run around in coveralls and go bare footed.

Yeah...you tell em Hat...because it's his fault they couldn't stop, arguably, the best back in the country and because he doesn't recruit backup QB's with 2 or 3 years of experience when they arrive on campus and because he doesn't recruit players who never get hurt...you tell Hat...it's all his fault they lost to the #5 (and maybe better than that) team in the country. When will these people learn that UT will never win a national championship...I mean another national championship until they bring Johnny Majors back. Go get em Hat. Hey maybe they can hire you when they fire him. :post-4-1090547912: :post-4-1090547912: :post-4-1090547912:

Typical. An intellectually vacant response from the Fulmerites. Nice job. Now quit playing with the manager's computer and check on the french fry basket.

Is it realistic to expect the defense to hold the SEC leading rushing team to less then 14 pts?

Crompton played like the redshirt freshmen he is.

i don't think our lack of D is our only issue. however, a D that didn't turn us into a one dimensional offense would've helped crompton a lot
