When is Hat going to have some...get a grip...THEY LOST TO A BETTER TEAM. Believe it or not, there will never be a time when UT is the best team in the country every single year. Last year they collapsed and everybody said "Fire Randy"..."Fire Pat" or you're an idiot. He fired Randy, fired Pat and they are going to go from 5-6 to, most likely, 9-3...what the hell do you want? Hat has no facts. By the way...I'm sure Hat knows a lot about being a manager at McDonalds.

read these threads man... once again we don't want to be the best team in the country every year.. we just want to be the class of the SEC from time to time (and not once every 9 years) which will occasionally put us in the national title picture

No, my experience is in writing franchising agreements for corporations like McDonald's. I only need one fact. 0 SEC titles since 1998. That says it all.

Winning a championship every year is way out of the picture but I do agree in recent years we haven't been very competitive for anything

Look back at his posts in this thread. Nothing in the way of facts. Instead, when you disagree with hat--or rather, if you don't want to fire Fulmer immediately--you are called intellectually vacant and a Fulmerite. I have figured out finally that all you have to do to be a "Fulmerite" is (1) not call for his head immediately and/or (2) disagree with anyone who does.

He brings intelligent arguments. Most Fulmerites bring the inconsequential claim that winning a national championship every year is unrealisitc.

I'm sorry, I make the inaccurate assumption that most posters are informed enough to realize that UT hasn't won an SEC title in eight years and has a record of 12-9 in their last 21 games. Didn't realize that I had to spell that out. I overestimated the intellectual capacity of some posters. My humblest apologies.

Or how he has the best winning % of coaches south of Ohio with a last name starting with "F" and is over 200 pounds.

Let me break it down for everyone so we can all be on the same page:

1) NegaVol - someone who says nothing positive about Tennessee.

2) Fulmerite - someone who says everything positive about Fulmer. Can be seen saying "Best winning % with 10 or more years experience" or "He's turned it around since 2005."

3) Vol Fan - someone who can be unhappy with the current state of the program, but can also realize that nothing is as clear as 1 and 2 make it sound. Is confused right now.

4) Alabama Fan - doesn't know how he or she got here, but realizes being an Alabama fan is probably the worst distinction in the world. Hears helicopters ... riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight ......... NOW!

This is way too easy. Spit out a stat we all know and then question other posters' intellectual capacity because we may disagree with the conclusion. Great analysis.

It certainly trumps the drivel you spew. I have yet to see any of the Fulmerites have a remotely reasoned response to those two rather important facts. My guess is that I'll be waiting a long, long time. But hey, TCHFCATUTK has the best winning percentage of all football coaches with 10+ years of service, female children, a receding hairline, and an office on the campus of the University of Tennessee.

Is anyone who doesn't say the solution is "Fire Fulmer" a Fulmerite? I haven't seen too many posters who have said "everthing positive" about Fulmer; yet I've seen plenty of "Fulmerite" accusations going around.

Most of us are Vol fans. There are actually very few Fulmerites and even less NegaVols. People use them more to hint as a person's tendency. For instance, I consider you a Vol fan, but you kind of leeeeeeeean to be a Fulmerite. :)
