If they did cancel the game and it turned out to be the difference in who wins the East, something would have to happen. I guarantee you they wouldn't just let Florida be East champs without having to play LSU.
all reports are florida is standing put and not wanting to move the game in hopes of a cancel. Thats their only shot at the east because all they have left is uga and arky.... so just say worst case we lose tx am and bama, and fla/lsu canceled and fla beats uga and ark, they in... we out.

In 2008, the UCLA vs. Miami game was cancelled in the early season due to a storm. Miami was ahead of us in the polls at the end of the season. Then UCLA traveled and played Miami in late November. UCLA won and this put us in contention for the National Championship. The following week, we had to beat Mississippi State in order to stay # 1 and play in the championship.
LSU would have to play Florida, at some point in the season...
If Florida voluntarily chooses not to play despite the league saying that it is possible to do so, then yes, they'd forfeit. But why would that happen?
They will play the game. The hurricane will move up the coast and be out of the area by gametime. It might be a little rainy.
