Likely will be GMac and Heupel will have him ready to go. There’s plenty of criticism to go around, but Heupel has proven that he can develop QBs. I was more worried about the defense but we’ve been shoring that up with dudes.

Merk left because he knew he would never be a starter here, we lost on leavitt because we weren’t willing to pay a ridiculous amount for him, I suspect we lost on the kid for Missouri because Virginia offered him more or he knew there was a better chance of being the starter there as well.

Remember when the CFB world was a gasp when Tennessee paid Nico 2 million a year. Now it is 5-6 million to get a QB. Miami just offered Ty Simpson 6.5 even though he has already declared for the draft. I don't see how this is sustainable.

He had plenty of opportunities to get Jake and George some valuable time last year. I felt we were too worried about having great offensive stats to brag about or something.
Going into year 6 we have no qb even close to ready. Sad.
