Not sure Milton is a good example. It looks as though his big flaw is being able to control his arm talent. He may not have the ability to adjust it physically when necessary. It hasn't gotten any better in his time in the NFLDeveloping a QB and having a QB friendly offense are two different things. Joe Milton was the same QB in his third year here that he was in his first. Joey was known as a gunslinger with high highs and low lows at App St. and he was still that here, just in a better system. Stats are not necessarily equivalent to development, they’re more indicative of the staff knowing how to utilize existing skill sets.
Hendon is the only QB here that’s really made any noticeable progress from one year to the next since Heupel’s been here. I’m hoping we ride with the young guys and he proves he can do it again.
Warren G Harding School??? Isn't that where Ralphie (OHHH FUDGEE but I didn't say fudge) went to school?Nothing to worry about, we have a third QB.

Coleman attended Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, Ohio, where he played quarterback and linebacker.[1] As a senior in 2024, he was the Trumbull County Player of the Year after finishing with 749 passing yards with 10 touchdowns, 751 rushing yards with seven touchdowns, and four receptions for 89 yards and two touchdowns on
He had plenty of opportunities to get Jake and George some valuable time last year. I felt we were too worried about having great offensive stats to brag about or something. If that’s true then that’s all on the coaches. Low is also on the same bandwagon as Pennington. About as conservative as it gets.
So with our QB friendly offense we don’t have to worry…Developing a QB and having a QB friendly offense are two different things. Joe Milton was the same QB in his third year here that he was in his first. Joey was known as a gunslinger with high highs and low lows at App St. and he was still that here, just in a better system. And we will pay dearly for that especially with the schedule we have next season. He had plenty of opportunities to get Jake and George some valuable time last year. I felt we were too worried about having great offensive stats to brag about or something.
Going into year 6 we have no qb even close to ready. Sad.
