'25 QB transfer prospects (Joey Aguilar)

Could be something there, then. I wouldn’t be opposed to the move.
Yes, I think of all the "potential possibilities" that we could go after, he is in my top3 along with Hoover and Johnson. Think he could be an absolute dynamic qb in CJHs system. Very accurate and an excellent decision maker. Oh, I forgot about Sam Leavitt. He is at the top also. Especially if we could get him and his WR1 Tyson to tag along. Now that is a pipedream, but never say never. Anyway, like I was saying,I would love to have Sawyer going into the fall. Think he has just started his climb towards the top and he could potentially be exactly what we have been needing to take that next step and get us back to contending for a national championship.

FWIW…Basilio said today on his show he thinks we won’t know until Thursday/Friday who our QB might be so it doesn’t look like we tampered with anyone
I learned, after years of living in Knoxville and actually enjoying his show, that Basilio usually doesn’t know a damn thing. He basically takes what’s online and twists it into his “orange throat” source material. For example, last week when all this was going down, he posts a video on Friday saying he’s got all sorts of juicy nuggets. Literally every nugget was something that had already been leaked and/or posted online.

He and Kevin Jennings are more than likely the front runners right now.

Yo I’d take Jennings
He’d be a good get I think. Really the only bad game I can recall from him was his meltdown against Penn State in the playoffs, but I honestly wonder how much of that was just Penn State being that much better than SMU.

Think he’d do quite well in our offense.

Whoever it is be irritated to be disappointed in the price tag. Going to have to grossly overpay unless we get the QB development discount. Fingers crossed.

I think we'll want to get a contract nailed down as soon as possible. Need to keep the instead we have on board of possible and snag a contributor or two DT, WR and I wouldn't mind a safety.

Out of all the QB targets mentioned on the first page, the only one that has UT coaches following them (Coach Hazle and our Director of Recruiting) is the Robertson kid

Not that it means anything.
Watched his highlights just now and definitely down with the coaches bringing him in. Looks like he actually gives his receivers a chance to make a play on deep passes consistently and has nice touch on short to intermediate passes.
