Harris logged 25 tackles, one pass deflection, a fumble recovery and a safety in 2025 with the Nittany Lions, and he will now join the slew of Penn State players who plan to hit the portal.

Harris began his career at Georgia before transferring to Penn State, logging 34 total appearances, including 26 starts, between the two teams.

Biggest want along with the Colorado safety. I think we get both and that’s a hell of a starting lineup.

Harris
Redmond
Gibson
Farooq
Co safety
Need more speed over farooq or have him play disciplined
JMO
Overall it should be an upgrade

Hopefully new DC instills major toughness
Would like some dbs that put guys down and out of games regardless of the rules
Make other teams wrs nervous

I think safety play improves immensely from just not having banks scheme and coaching…

Once the Penn state coach comes and Knowles installs his scheme, they will look much better. Our team desperately needs better fundamentals which will be brought by Knowles.

Do whatever it takes!

I don’t think this is a “do whatever it takes” guy unless you’re just looking at his HS ranking.

Harris totaled 33 tackles this season but allowed 23 completions on 25 targets for 286 yards and two touchdowns, per PFF. Harris earned poor coverage grades down the stretch, include a season-low 43.0 against Rutgers to close out the season.

over a 12 game season that’s not a lot of targets.

That stat is wonky.

He was also All Big Ten HM. So theres that….

That was the year before.

By all accounts from what I’ve read, he had an ass year. Supposedly even got benched vs NW.

Doesn’t mean he won’t / can’t be good. But that’s prob not a guy you do “whatever it takes” to land is all.

Hope he balls out here.

That All-Big Ten HM was this season.
