Must suck, I could crank up my 360 right now and play a game, tell you how it goes.

On second thought I will just keep watching TV and feel comfortable knowing that the servers are up and running.

yea, yea. PS3 is still a way better gaming console. Their network was probably hacked from everything Ive read

Yeah...unless you're into the whole online thing and gaming....

The hacker community is fairly disgusted with Sony right now. Does't surprise me they are being attacked again.

Yea Sony creates an online network, has it's own firmware, own software, & the hackers think the people are being screwed over. Well now we are being screwed over. Thanks hackers. If you wanna do us a favor blow up citibank & those kinda folks. I just wanna golf online or whatever.

until the ps3 gets a better or equal to online service or bettor or equal to library i can't see it being the "way better" gaming console. they were the definite more reliable console early on due to the RRoD, and they have the built in wifi/blueray , but other than that they've pretty much been 1 upped by microsoft in every other category. i'm not hating on sony by any means, but it's getting pretty late in the game now for the ps3 and they're still significantly behind in alot of areas. i owned a playstation 1 and 2 for years and loved them both.......but i have no regrets about switching over to the 360 for this generation.

So its a free gold weekend for xbox and psn is down...

Microsoft could get a few extra sells this weekend.

Sony is still giving no update as to the timeframe for a possible resolution of the problem. Originally it had said after the problems surfaced that it would be a matter of a "day or two," but with that time frame now passing and no clear idea of when PSN may return from Sony, it could potentially be much longer.

You think they could at least get a ballpark timetable for all of their users.
Or at least refund their money, oh wait.

Psn and xbl are not even comparable. There is a reason that I have only touched my ps3 in the last year and a half to play the show. If you enjoy your ps3 more, good for you. But sales figures and NPD data don't lie when xbox is well ahead of the ps3. Is the ps3 more powerful? Yes, buy developers are simply developing more for the xbox than Sony and all that power does you no good if you aren't able to use it. Looks.........seriously? Is there a beauty contest for consoles or something? Seriously who gives a ****, has nothing to do with which system has the edge.

Its not just looks that make the ps3 better. Its pretty much everything. The only reason sales is more for x box if true is because the box is cheaper. And it was brought out a year and half ahead of time. They were in a rush to get money instead of taking time to make a complete entertainment console like the folks at sony. But in the long run the ps3 is cheaper because it has everything already built in that xbox users have to buy separate. Ive owned an x box and in less than a yr it wouldnt work right anymore. It wouldnt play new games that I bought for it. The controller sucked especially if tryin to do combos. The dvd player wouldnt work with the game remote. The box should be boxed, It was garbage. And you already pay for internet why pay an additional 50-60 bucks? Graphics are better, dvd player is better. Well yall seen the video. it speaks for its self. MICROSOFT sucks period
