What are some can't-miss games coming out this year or next? I'm trying to talk myself out of selling my PS4, but I never play it. I got hooked on Destiny and Dying Light for a few months, but other than that it's collected dust.

So basically I should sell my PS4 :p

None of those really interest me that much. Even the ones that I thought would hold my attention like Destiny and Dying Light, I only gave them a few weeks. I only played Hardline once.

E3 is late June or July, right? I'll wait and see what they announce there. Seems like right after E3 might be a good time to get a decent price out of my PS4 if I decide to sell it.

Geez dude what exactly are you looking for? Those lists are quality and pretty diverse. If nothing out of those lists I posted interest you, you seriously might want to consider a new hobby.

True. That was basically the top 10 or so games available on next gen. Outside of the very mediocre, yet admittedly addictive, Destiny and the Dead Island rehash, Dying Light, what games have you enjoyed in the past few years? That'd help narrow down a list.

Also, Bloodborne/Dark Souls 2 if you're man enough :p

I just can't get into games like I used to. Here's a comprehensive list of games that have held my attention for longer than a week since I bought my PS4:

Assassin's Creed whatever with the boats
The Last of Us Remastered
Destiny
Dying Light

Basically, even games that I know are really good can't hold my attention. I just don't think I'm a "gamer" anymore. I really want to play Cities: Skylines, but my laptop doesn't have a graphics card.

Well I didn't know that PS4 was your sole gaming platform. You may have also gamed on PC, X1, handheld, etc.

That's cool if gaming no longer interests you. It happens. It happened to me a few years back so I took a long break from it but eventually I came back to it.

I don't know if I'll ever stop completely being a gamer. The way I see it, as I've grown up and gotten married, had kids, more responsibility, etc. It's the one little piece of "me" that I want to hold onto. I've been passionate about gaming since I got my first Mattel electronic handheld football game back in the late 70's and I still have that passion today.

Cool story bro moment but was watching a guy stream the other day. If I had to guess he was probably in 50s and someone said something about his age and him still being a gamer. His response was "you're never too old to enjoy cool stuff." Idk why but that quote was awesome to me.
