That's so weird you can get on still. I tried for over an hour last night to no avail. I'm not even close to getting on today either.

Only thing I did was change the DNS servers my PS4 uses. I doubt that made a difference, but it seems to be the only thing different between our setups.

If you go into your network settings and do it manually, set your primary dns server to 8.8.8.8 and secondary to 8.8.4.4

That will use Google's dns server, which is probably updated quicker than Comcast's.

But, I don't think that's what's causing it...worth a try though.

I still cannot connect and haven't been able to since Christmas day!

This may not be Sony's fault for this happening but it is absolutely Sony's responsibility to fix it post-issue and that's what I'm irritated at them about. This is ridiculous for PSN subscribers not to have connectivity through the holidays! Complete amateur hour on Sony's part for not having their **** together to deal with this after the fact!

Everyone on here knows that I carry the torch for PlayStation as much as anyone, however I'm not even going to try and defend this horse****! What pisses me off the most is that Lizard Squad came out and said they were going to do this crap weeks ago, and yet Sony STILL acts like they were completely incompetent to deal with it!

I'm at the point now that if it weren't for exclusive PlayStation IP's that I can't play anywhere else I would have absolutely ****-canned the PS4 months ago! PlayStation is consistently home to some fantastic games but I have to call a spade a spade here! As a network, PSN has been absolute garbage and frankly Sony should be ashamed of themselves. Going into this generation I honestly thought Sony was narrowing the gap between PSN and Live, boy was I about as wrong as could possibly be! PSN is a freaking joke and I honestly thought it was better last generation when it was free!

agreed, horrible foresight by sony... however ps3 and vita are back online as of a few moments ago.. does me no good

To be fair Brave, XBL has been suffering from some of the same troubles, but MS seems to have a little bit better handle on getting their service back online once issues do present themselves.

I have Live also bleedorange and it was back up and running for me Christmas night. I realize this isn't necessarily Sony's fault but it's the difference in how it gets handled between Sony and MS that irks me. I don't have a ton of free time anymore and the holiday's are one of the rare times of the year I can just chill out with time to myself and play my games. I am just beyond irritated at the fact that Sony knew this was coming and yet they still seem totally ill-prepared to deal with it.

Plus isn't this like the 3rd time in the last 9 months or so Lizard Squad has done this to PSN? You'd think by now Sony would have better preventative measures in place and some sort of course of action to take in case it did happen again. Yet Sony continuously acts as if they are completely caught off guard when it does happen.

I want these hack happy bastards caught and hung up by their buster browns!

Are you able to get on PSN? We live pretty close, I feel like if one of us is able to get on the other one should too.

It does suck that this happened but Xbox Live got hit also, luckily it came back up within a day. This is ridiculous for it to be out for this long though.

Mine finally connected but had to wait about 5 minutes before it would let me play gta online. Working fine now
