Ps4

I simply don't play video games enough anymore to justify owning a system specifically for gaming. Plus, despite some steps in the right direction, I still HATE the Playstation controller. In the past 3-5 years I don't think I've bought any games other than installments of COD, GTA and FIFA.

If not for the TV integration on Xbone, which is cool because I can just pause games and check back in on sporting events on TV without having to switch all the inputs and turn stuff on/off, I probably wouldn't have even bought a new system. Before Titanfall came out it had probably been a month or more since I'd actually used my Xbone for gaming.

So you cant justify the purchase of a next gen console because you dont play video games enough anymore, but you also cant justify the purchase of a next gen console because the game lineup is thin..................Sounds like you just need to give up the hobby all together.:)

I'm thinking about selling mine as well. I played NBA 2k14 once with nerd the past 2 months and that's the only time my PS4 has seen any action other than Netflix.

What was that day/night cycle zombie game, and when does it come out? That's the next game I see myself getting really carried away with. Hope it pans out.

Im drawing a blank

No, I just can't justify spending $400-$500 for something that doesn't do anything but play video games. I bought an Xbone knowing I was probably going to play it a handful of hours a week but that it also served other functions. All I was originally saying is that I can see how people who dove in headfirst simply for gaming might be a bit disappointed at this stage.

Understood

So did you get a PS4 as well as the Xbone?

I can understand people being dissapointed this early on, but what did you expect. There are never great games out this early for the systems.

I'm not especially disappointed. The XBone has pretty much been what I expected it would be. I was just responding to someone who asked why in the world anyone would be selling their PS4. I can see how some people would rather have the money at this stage of the cycle.

That's just the nature of early adoption. What irritates me is when people say "The PS4 has no games" when that's just inaccurate. What they really mean is the system doesn't accommodate their very narrowed gaming taste. I'm playing a bunch of stuff on PS4 and loving it.

I don't think it's a narrowed taste as much as most games out now are just ports from the last gen systems. It's to be expected I suppose, but neither system has that must have game yet. Titanfall is the closest thing IMO.

Just goin through a divorce guys and im dead broke. I dont want to sell it but I have to

Sorry to hear that boss. You might want to keep it though, playing games helped me turn my mind off for a while when I was going through that ****. Good luck Rock.

It looks really good, TBA as far as release but sometime in 2014

I was in gamestop when I picked up Infamous and asked about Dying Light, August 26 is the date. Really has my attention, I'll definitely keep an eye and see of if it's going to be a large game and in depth. Definitely could be a good one

I wouldn't put too much stock in that date. Since moving back the Mar 31 release date, all they've said is they are committed to releasing it in 2014. Probably announce a date at E3.

That's Gamestop's date. That is not official.
