Ps4

Sony has confirmed that we will be able to dim the lightbar in a future update.

Will also have digital games available for preload downloads........so like you could already have A game downloaded then at midnight if release, it's playable. Still won't go to digital games until there is some sort or trade-in program or until the price of the digital games are significantly lower.

Same here. I love the idea of digital games. But, at the same time, I love being able to take a disc and going to a friend's house and playing something like 2k or Madden. Digital games should be cheaper, seeing as you're giving up the freedom of being able to play the game in multiple consoles. $10 discount over retail value would be great, but will probably never happen.

Also, the problem with running out of storage becomes a big issue as well. Thankfully, the PS4 has the ability to upgrade. In the future I plan to add a 1.5 TB HDD or a 1TB SSD (for better/faster performance).

Yeah, I like having something physical. I love having a game case, I'm a bit of a freak. I've got a few downloads on my ps3. Like two game bundles and then like four PS+ free games, which I had owned all them at one time but traded them in

I like the idea, but as with everyone else, if a hard copy vosts the same as a digital version, i want the disc.

I will only buy digitally if that's the only way it's available. That may make me a dinosaur but I don't care. Physical disk >>> Digital IMO. Considering ones limited hard drive space I don't get why anyone would actually prefer digital. Especially since it doesn't cost any less than owning it physically.

Convenience and not having to swap disks. Those are my usual reasons.

I had not planned on getting Infamous but I decided late last night to download it. I'm sure I'll end up with a larger hard drive at some point.

Oh yeah I totally get the convenience factor. I must admit it is nice to jump out of Blacklight Retribution and go directly into Outlast without having to get my lazy butt off the couch LOL!

I just somehow feel like I'm getting more for my money when I buy physical disks. If they would offer digital games at a 10.00 discount or something like that I might use it more.

Plus something I forgot to mention is trade in. With physical disks at least I can sell or trade them in when I'm finished with them where as with digital you are stuck with it forever.

Until we can sell our digital copies of games on an online auction type format like eBay, I'm sticking with discs.

The problem the industry needs to understand (or acknowledge) is that, currently, the intrinsic ownership of digital media remains with the producer, not the consumer! We are essentially pay them full price to rent their product indefinitely.

Yeah when you consider many of these games are around a 20gb install, a 500gb HDD doesn't seem so large anymore. I think I will end up jumping ok the first deal for a 1.5tb or 1tb SSD as soon as I find a deal.

I'm going to get a 1.5tb. Do you know if it will be easy to install or not?
