Oh I see. That was my fault because my original post wasn't clear. I meant should, not that they were actually doing that. People buy stuff for all the wrong reasons a lot of times . Of course that is my subjective opinion based on some objective truth.

No he is right. Its just that I believe those people shouldn't buy it that for reason, but of course that will not stop them. Still I would bet the bank the number of people who are currently not buying one due to the Kinect vs. people who are buying one because of the Kinect are about 4 to 1 at least.

It's probably more to do with the 100.00 price difference than it does the Kinect itself. I don't think people are not buying it on the PRINCIPLE that MS is bundling the Kinect with the hardware. It's the fact that bundling the Kinect in with the hardware makes it 100.00 more expensive. If the X1 came out at 399.99 just like PS4 I don't think anyone would care that it came with Kinect.

Perceived value VS sticker price is a tricky thing in retail. Look at the PS3 when it launched. It could have been argued when the system first came out at 599.99 that it was a better value compared to the cheaper X360. It had blu ray playback (and was the cheapest blu ray on the market at the time), it came with wifi built in, it came with 4 USB ports, it came with several different storage card readers, it had HDMI output (the original 360 did not), had backwards compatibility for PS1 and PS2 titles, it had a fully upgradable non-proprietary hard drive, etc. Yet until Sony re-designed the system and got the sticker price down to a more competitve amount, the 360 was killing it in sales.

When you boil it all down, consumers are going to see 499.99 VS 399.99. What comes in the box by and large is irrelevant.

I love my turtle beach px5s. Had them for a couple years and they still work great. Bump music and Sfx for sure.

Heard good things about the Golds, but I've never used them.

Yes. I traded mine in last night. I got $532 for the console with the standard accessories and 3 games. Originally $300 value, 50% extra towards PS4 so I got $450 just for the system. Ordered a 2k14 bundle because it was the quickest way to get one in my area.

Basically only out $60 from the whole ordeal with not choosing the PS4 first time around.

I'm not big on CL or eBay, so not a bad deal I guess.

Freak I offered a trade to Sith Vol, XBoxONE for my PS4 straight up. I'll extend the same offer to you, and I'll throw in Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (game sucked anyways IMO)

I started a thread about it. I would much rather have PS4 but my clan all jumped ship, so I guess it kind of forces me to get XBone.

Thanks for the offer but I have both systems and will probably keep my xbox1 just because of friends. :hi:

Oh I didn't know you had them both. I may just give up on trying. I love my PS4 and they all jumped ship for Titanfall. I guess I'm just not as amped for Titanfall as the rest of the world.

At the end of the day it's just another FPS shooter. I'll take better graphics and performance over $65 title. That's why I decided to just go ahead and switch systems.

Black Flag worth $50? I haven't played an AC game since Brotherhood. Got tired of the same old stuff. Is it a waste of money to get Black Flag? I've heard a bunch of great stuff about this one on next gen.

I'm not blown away by Titanfall, either. Maybe that will change with the full release. I want to like it.
