One gamestop told me they could order me one and have it shipped to my house. I didn't ask how much it was, I know they were pushing a $1000 bundle when they came out.

I would ask about them ordering you one, they may can just do what you want to get.

I know they sell those Amazon gift cards. Because Amazon has the console in stock right now. What do you think the odds are of me buying like 10 of those with the store credit? They'd probably get annoyed by it but it's my store credit.

The extra credit is towards a next gen system, so they may not give you that.

I'm not really worried about the extra credit because they give $390 flat for the One and then whatever else for the controllers, accessories. I can use my PowerUp to buy anything. But I know what you mean. I'm just gonna up there and ask. If I have to then I'll get them to order one for me in store.


By the way, are you please with your switch so far? Any games that you had on One look a lot better on the PS4?

I like it better so far, Battlefield looks better IMO and feels like it plays better. I like the interface a lot better, I had a hard time getting around on the One for some reason.

Just ordered my PS4.

Traded in all my Xbox One stuff, BF 4, Ghosts, NBA 2k14. I got $532.

The guy recommended that I order a bundle online and get it shipped to my house...so I got the bundle that includes 2k14, extra controller, and 1 year of PS+. It was $633 with 2 day shipping. I also bought BF4. Should get here by Tuesday.

I only had to pay $66 due to canceling my Titanfall preorder. I'm pumped!

Hell yeah!! I play with Turtle Beach PX5s, on setting 4. Which is bass booster surround sound and treble up. It is awesome. It was one of the best things I've bought, old lady and baby aren't disturbed. And I'm bumping. I got them at best buy like 2 1/2 years ago, expensive, like 269.99 or something, was worried about spending that much and them blowing out. But they've been great. I think you can get them now for like 120-140 dollars maybe. I had to get them, I like playing with the sound full blast.

Im using them on my PS4 now, well both, (Stick of Truth is sweet) you get all the sound but I don't think you can chat with them or online. Haven't tried, just heard you couldn't. They make PX4s for the pS4.

BTW: AssCreed4, TombRaider, Killzone, and Injustice all look amazing on the Ps4. Freak was talking about the graphics, I think the Ps4 is better than XB1, Imho

Yes power wise and price wise the PS4 is superior to the XB1. Almost every 3rd party game is graphically better on the PS4. This is not fanboyism, but a fact when looking at the resolution output and the hardware. Only reason I can think of anyone going with the XB1 is if they are hardcore Halo fans or of other XB1 exclusives. It is too early in this generation cycle to say that you are going the XB1 route due to friends. Make your friends follow you (that is what I did this time). Don't worry the XB1 will make a great slim version one day hopefully without the Kinect.

Also I purchased the Sony Gold wireless headphones for $99. Very impressive for the price.

The Kinect and the entertainment integration of the system is superior to the PS4. Theres a great demographic in the market that desires the XB1 due to this entertainment intergration.

That is one of the reasons I will eventually pick it up. I think it is cool. Also, for some of the exclusives.

I would say there is a bigger backlash against the integration of the Kinect than people loving it. Just look at sales numbers between the 2 consoles (currently Sony has a 2 million lead). It is telling on the Gaintbomb podcast this week pretty much all agreed they only use the Kinect for turning their XB1 on and for nothing else. I will not get into picture and sound issues with the XB1 that some are having when using the pass thru.

To be straight forward I don't mind the XB1. I have used it several times and it is a nice machine. Still I can't sit here and lie that I believe it was worth it against the PS4 (even if they was the same price I would still go with PS4 due to hardware).

only reason i would have an xb1 right now is forza. titanfall looks good, but i can wait on that. can't justify that cash for just one game. couple of years from now may be a different story tho.

You are completely missing what I'm saying, I'm very aware of the sales figured and predicted as much back last year when the consoles were announced. I was responding to your claim that customers are buying XB1's strictly for the exclusives, which, IMO is a false statement.

Not saying you're wrong, as I don't have real metrics to argue with you. My HUNCH is that most people who own Xbone's were big 360 fanboys and they were going to blind buy it regardless. I'm sure there are some who saw Ryse or Forza or maybe Titanfall footage and were impressed enough to buy it on impulse. As far as people buying it strictly because of Kinect and multimedia function, I'm sure some did but I would guess that number is pretty small. I mean, who does that? Who buys a gaming console just because it's fitted with the console equivalent of "the clapper?"
