Those decals are cool, but I wish they would just remove the damn light. It is annoying IMO and makes the battery life of the control suck.

That's actually not true. It's an LED light and LED's do not use up that much power. The battery life sucks because...well Sony used a ****ty battery.

Anyone else had issues with the PS4 randomly turning on and spiting out the disc? Happened to me yesterday - seemed like the PS4 kept trying to eject even when a disc wasn't present. It would not accept the disc when I would try to insert it - just kept spiting it back out.

Jumped on some PS4 forums and learned this is a problem others are having - some have returned their units for a new one. Sony has yet to publicly acknowledge this problem.

Found a potential fix is to turn it off, unplug it, and stand the PS4 up on it's side.

I simply turned it upright for a few moments without turning it off and it worked when I laid it down flat again.

Weird issue, hope it doesn't get worse.

Yeah, why doesn't it deactivate when the PS4 doesn't sense a camera plugged in? I hate when I'm watching a bluray or netflix and that got dam bright ass blue light is lighting up the entire room.

I hate to turn the controller off, in case I have to pause it or something.

Yeah you'd think if you aren't using a camera that there would be no need for it to activate. There are a couple of purposes that I know of for the light bar aside from working with the camera. One is when you are using more than one controller, different colors will indicate controllers 1, 2, 3, etc. Another one is that the color of the bar will reflect certain situations in games like it will pulse red if you're low on life, etc.

I bought a ps4 and madden over the weekend. I was reluctant to buy it but since I won't have online for 4 months I wanted a long lasting game. I am surprised how much I like it . I love connected franchise the exp points are much needed addition to something very outdated. It actually makes the players that play well better and the ones that don't don't get better.

My wonderful wife got me a ps4 yesterday for valentines day!

I remember the ps4 locking up when it downloads the out of box software update. Is this still an issue?
