You're now in the day of rush it to market and finish it with updates. I think both machines could have used another 6 months in development to get everything right.

Sony's interface is pitiful. They really need to hire someone new for that job.

It's no different than the Xbox One and Wii U. I don't have PS4 yet but I have the other 2, and I have 2 games for each. I have COD Ghosts and Dead Rising 3 for the XOne and ZombiU and Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U, and none of them seem that different than the 360 or Wii.

If you remember the first wave or so of games for the 360, PS3, and Wii were all pretty much the same way. That's why a lot of people wait 6 months to a year before they get a new console, because the first year is a transitional period.

I actually saw a PS4 at Best Buy yesterday; unfortunately a guy was carrying it around. It felt like a Bigfoot sighting.

I've seen A LOT of Xbone's in stock at various stores(Target, WalMart, Best Buy) the last week or so. Almost no PS4s.

I really don't mind the interface. It's simple and fast. Xbox on the other hand is neither of those things.

I'll probably wait a couple of years (when the price goes down and a backlog of quality games is developed), but I definitely will be getting a PS4.

Learnt my lesson the hard way NOT to buy a Microsoft-built machine.

If they don't keep changing evolving the interface, it could become a clusterf* a year or two down the road when you have a bunch of apps/games/etc.

Otherwise, serves it's purpose now and is pretty quick. A few too many clicks to get to friends requests, etc. but so be it.

I like how fast and immediate the interface is. It doesn't wow you or anything but it works! I do wish they would add a 3rd line though. Maybe one specifically for games and one specifically for apps, video, music, etc. Customizable backgrounds and themes would be nice too.

I do use some other apps on the ps4 but yes, it is primarily a game system. If I could have a custom random chive pic background that would be cool...boobies you know
