Ps4

At the Target I work for I put out the PS4 games Monday. There was no street-date restrictions on any of them. I think it's more of "have plenty of stock on launch day" kind of deal.

I'm also pretty sure no rainchecks are allowed for the B2G1 free promo.

My store only has 9 PS4s available. The presell cards we had (6) were all taken. So we will have 3 available for first-come-first-serve. The preorders also have different DPCIs which is weird. I believe they come with a free bonus game or a free PS+ membership.

Well, technically, Target sent a memo with street dates for different titles. But, it was hit or miss if they were following it.

3 extra consoles....that's not a lot. You guy sell a bunch of PS4 games this week?

We actually haven't been getting a whole lot in. We have a crap load of Ghosts. Other than that AC4 and BF4 have been sold a lot.

Rumors are floating around that PS4 are bricking on updates?!?

Just to put this in perspectve and avoid needless panic, the standard ACCEPTABLE failure rate for a new consumer electronics product is between 3 and 5%. So far out of the 4,000 early units that have been sent out there have only been about 6 reported issues. If you calculate that out, that's a failure rate of less than 1%. The PS4 is fine folks. Will there be "lemons?" Sure! Some will be factory defects, some may be damaged in shipping. However this is nothing new and has happened at EVERY console launch. The only difference now is that social media has everything under such a ridiculous microscope that every isolated incident gets blown out of proportion and quick!

Now having said that, I'm not going to deny that being on the "front lines" of any system launch does come with some risk. That's why I always purchase an extended warranty on launch consoles to protect my investment.

COO walked in said Alex I need you to do something. Response don't you see I'm busy. L
