PS3 Vs 360

I've been reading where some of you say the 360 is so much better than the PS3. I'm thinking about getting one but i've always been a Playstation guy, mainly because of the controller. I just don't like XBox's controller.

Why do so many of you say the 360 is the way to go?

PS controllers were the best in the business...until the 360 controller.

There's no question right now which is the better machine and value.

That may change later on, but 95% of games will be on both systems. Up to this point, they pretty much all run better on the 360 with better online perofrmance.

But, if you're going to get a PS3, try and get one of the $499 clearanced 60gig systems coming real soon. The $599 80gig model forces you to spend more money and doesn't have the PS2 chip inside which will affect backwards comp. (it that's important to you).

The 360 controller is the best controller for a console ever. It is so much better than the Xbox, PS2 and 3 controllers. There are a lot better games out for the 360 and most of the games out for both run better on the 360 (right now) incluiding this years NCAA and you cant play Xbox Live on the PS3.

I was a huge PS2 controller and system fan until the almighty 360 came out.

You all are swinging me towards the 360. I mainly play sports games anyway with the occasional medal of honor or war game. Isn't the 360 cheaper too?

If those are the kind of games you like go with the 360. Even PS fanboys (Milo) will tell you that.

I've been a PS man since the first Playstation and I am now seriously considering bypassing the PS3 and getting the XBOX 360 Elite. Anybody rocking the Elite right now??

y is gettin a ps3 so bad? true there aren't many games right now but eventually there will be. honestly the only game that ps has that xbox doesn't that i def. must have is socom, is xbox had it then i'd prolly go w/ that.

Many would see it like this:

Socom

-OR-

XBOX LIVE, playable demos all the time, 50+ arcade games, additional game content like GTA, controller rumble, better performance with cross platform games, cheaper, etc.

Exactly like it? Not sure, never played Socom. Similar games? I'd suspect Battlefield (and it's sequel) are similar, and games like Vegas, GoW, etc. are all becoming much more team based as the years pass.

socom is a USA vs. ********** game. not going to lie, when i kill the terrorists online, i feel good about myself. i've been in several online games where its really american citizens as the seals playing against towel heads being themselves. its crazy they talk in the crazy language in the big room before the game starts. the americans talk crap to them, rather funny
