Pruitt won this game for us:

It wasn't the last five minutes, but his entire game plan. Pruitt was 0-10 when behind in the third quarter, he is now 1-10. I believe he planned the entire thing, the old rope-a-dope. After we whip Oklahoma's butts, in Norman, the SEC will be ours, I'm smelling a NATY. I hope we give CJP a huge raise, and extension, as one of the other schools will be calling him, (non- stop) with some sweet offers. It is time to pony up some big $$$$.

Congratulations, you just broke the sarcasm meter.

Be nice if they would teach the qb’s to stagger the snap count / silent count some. All year other D lines jumped on JG’s clap.

Disagree. We were incredibly lucky to win a game that never should have been close. We have more 4 star recruits in every single recruiting class than they’ve had in the last 20 years. There’s a huge talent disparity between the two teams. We were pushing them around easily to start the game. But Pruitts reluctance to go away from Jg is just so damn shocking. He did make a good call on the onside kick. But that was the only good call he made and had a whole bunch of bad ones in between. Why didn’t he stick with Maurer? He was in for 1 drive and we scored on it. He’s ability to run is significant. And we went with the prevention their second to last drive and gave them every opportunity to drive down and score

Why didn't he stick with Maurer? Did you watch the game? Maurer was only in on a few throwing plays and he nearly threw 2 picks. CJP didn't have Joe Burrow sitting on the bench. His options were very limited. I think we've seen the last of Maurer in a Vols uni. He's not the answer

LSU’s staff has a Heisman QB. You obviously don’t realize this...but it makes a difference
Burrow improved dramatically this season after Brady came in. If you compare this year to last year its a night and day difference. Brady is probably one of, if not the, best offensive minds in college football right now.

I like Pruitt. This new strata-jury of hiring old school ball coaches that are no nonsense, and about discipline, and fundamentals.........over the proven methods of hiring lawyers and band camp members seemed crazy at first. I mean the man doesn't even have orange pants or a VFL trash can for goodness sakes......but the concept is growing on me and is so crazy it just might work!

I don't know that Pruitt will be a great coach (I hope so), but I do think he is improving and growing into the job. My favorite part is that he is a football guy first and that he doesn't feel the need to get all chatty for the cameras. His straightforward statements are such a refreshing experience after years of weird Dooley lectures and Butch cliches.

I'm looking forward to next season.

LSU has players. Tennessee doesn't. Trade coaches and see how well LSU's coaches do with Tennessee's players. I have a feeling they would not look like geniuses.
They would if they could bring their QB with them. Otherwise their coaches and ours are about the same.

And the players executed it in the last 5 minutes. This shows that his players follows his toughness, no matter what is going on. That toughness will bleed over into 2020.
There is no quit in this team, that's evident. But fwiw, Butch Jones team played with unbelievable fire for 2-3 years also. However, I think Pruitt is the real deal. He's still got a ways to go though

Best quote from his presser:
"You know, offensively I've got a lot of really good plays to run after the play is over with. You know, so it's probably not a whole lot of fun to be on that headset, especially the first three quarters tonight."

Did anyone ask Pruitt about our last possession where we got a 5 yard penalty for illegal snap:

Were it not for that penalty, were you really going to snap the ball and go for it?

I have not heard his answer to that. Anyone know? If nobody asked him then shame on the media.

How did the LSU coaches get those players? Our coaches need to subscribe to The Mail-Order Player News, and quit this stupid recruiting thing-you act as if they have only out recruited us, as our coaching skills are equal. What's up with this recruiting thing?

Fantastic blitz calls
Very well disguised most of the time. The fakes were equally great. Loved the fake of two linebackers up the middle and pullout to cover the flat. They ran up to the line after the snap and pulled out. Really sold it, Ramsey unload too early incomplete.
