We moved down in D to about ten rows back, so I got a good look at the Charlotte players up close. There is no way that we aren't a more physically-fit team than them. Honestly: I think we just have a bunch of guys who aren't very good and don't have the fire/know how to win.

Yep they arent very good but they lack size as well....We need another off season to get our interior guys bigger and to add some amazing recruit to our team.

I don't think this is an over reaction, but Pruitt is tripping balls over his current options on the Oline....he knows he's got to find at least 6-7 top quality players and get them at least a year in the program..... to even be worth a s***

I agree. But, even our sub-par roster is full of guys "more talented" and stronger than Charlotte. Our run blocking is flat-out embarrassing... EMBARRASSING. QB has no time whatsoever in the pocket, and he's still getting criticised. Watch one minute of this LSU/Bama game to see what OL play is supposed to look like.

Some blame for today's performance HAS to fall on our coaches.

You do know he is not going to add enough amazing recruits to this team to make a real difference? The admin is just hoping that the easier schedule next season will lead to six wins and a trip to the toilet bowl game to keep the gullible fans buying in.

The run blocking is balls out non-existent. I'm honestly in disbelief with what I witnessed out or our Oline today.

Yes on this offensive line he has been adequate....The penalties have been infuriating but his actual blocking has been decent....the majority of our QB pressures have been right up the middle....In the running game, we have done a decent job around the end but cant get any push up the middle at all.

Yep. It's easy for Tua to look like some incredible machine when he is sitting in his backfield with enough time to balance his checkbook. Let's swap him and Guarantano running for his life and still completing a twenty yard pass. Let's watch Tua pull that one off.

Point is, Tua looks great, Saban looks great, Pruitt looks great--we all look great--behind a semi-pro, maybe pro offensive/defensive line. It's all about the Jimmys and Joes. Or, as an old acquaintance I used to have would say. 'it ain't who you know, it's who you bl--.

Even in situations where we could/would likely be passing, we consistently lost 1-2 yards by running the ball. While I type this, Alabama literally lines up and points where they are running on 3rd and 2 and gets 5 yards. It's mind-numbing.

If it only leads to six wins and we can see our program improving then that should be fine for us fans.....We need a stable, strong program.....not a quick fix that is fools gold....I believe we will be happy with this staff if we give them a chance. The players on campus now should be improved plus adding 4-5 absolute stud offensive lineman cant hurt.

Problem is, we were getting those six wins with Dooley and Jones and in the end, it still turned out to be fools gold.
