When we had our unbeaten stream against Ala, do you think it made us fans hate them any less or less of a Rival? Absolutely not. We will always be Alabama's 2nd biggest Rival and they will always be our 1st or 2nd, depending on individual opinion opinions. To me it's Ala then Fla. The TN/ Ala has been cyclical forever and it will away back to our side again soon. But I can promise you those winning or losing streaks don't change how fans or Players view a rival.

Growing up in Huntsville, I didn't actually pay any attention to who the Barner's were for a number of years. There were 2 teams in the Tennessee Valley that existed in the SEC, Alabama, and Tennessee. It's not exactly something coach Bryant would let you forget.

I never have understood feeding the ego of fans from other schools.

Most fans of other schools are fragile and need the sympathy.

I’m glad Vol fans aren’t like them.
