Absolutely nonsensical drivel here
Mike...... I respectfully must disagree ..... this win was ugly as **** ......
I see your point.... but I still think that ANY way you slice it.... this win was goon island ugly.... it was to me.....YOU didn't pay attention to the last 3 words..... "...for this team..."
Just getting a W out of these guys and limiting an opponent to 3 points is an ABSOLUTE victory for any team that has Darren Kirkland starting at LB....
Does that help, bro?
Thats a good Q. I have no idea when they will. And i am doubting more and more they ever will this season.
We just look out of sorts from top down.
A game We won where the defense only allowed three points is the worst in 22 years? Come on.
Our players arent good. But they should be better than Charlotte's DL on size, strength and athleticism alone. At the end of the day--that's all that I'm saying.....these guys have to own their performances on the field....it's not from lack of effort....the UGLY TRUTH is that our players are just not very good.....
I haven't seen this lack of talent across the board for a SEC team since Lou Holtz took over USCe back in 1999. It truly is that bad.
No one wants to hear it....but it's just flat out TRUE.....
The offense was bad but I’d be surprised if there’s any statistical evidence to back up this being near the worst performance in 22 years. But if you want to do the work, convince me I’m wrong.Given the opponent, it actually could have statistically been the worst in 22 years. We’ve held quite a few bad teams to one score over the last 22 seasons. But in those games, did our offense only score one time? 20 rushing yards? Homecoming? What?!

Ah. Gotcha. Size would be interesting. But strength would be a big factor too. I watched the game and didn’t think we looked physically dominant at any point.I didn't. I listened to it as i did something productive.
If needed, i bet we could ascertain and co.pared the size of our OL against their DL though.
@Freak, I'm going back until 2003...that's as far back as ESPN goes. 15 years. I'm going to look at games where we scored 14 points or less, win or lose. I'm going to TRY to find a game where we had less than 192 total yards of offense. I'm also going to TRY to find a game where we had less than 20 yards rushing. But I can almost guarantee you that I won't find either one. Is that fair? I can't really judge the defense, as they only gave up one score. I don't think anyone has a problem with that. I think it's the only scoring 14 on Charlotte that has people concerned. The offense was bad but I’d be surprised if there’s any statistical evidence to back up this being near the worst performance in 22 years. I’m certain this ranks as one of our worst offensive performances. I just don’t think a game that we won and the defense played so well can be the worst GAME in 22 years. That’s all. But I’m interested in reading what you come up with, however you want to slice it.@Freak, I'm going back until 2003...that's as far back as ESPN goes. 15 years.
