Pruitt "obviously" in trouble

All serious football schools cheat to some extent. These coaches all know one another and pretty much know what is going on where. If UT gets into any serious trouble here, a couple of sec schools better be on serious look out. Fulmer will have no problem launching a couple of torpedoes.

As long as this leads to a coaching change I could care less what happens. Jeremy Pruitt is toxic.

Are our recent signees bound to the University if Pruitt and staff are canned? My assumption is no.

Any word on if TN is actually going to make a change?

I'm not gonna debate our ranking, but to clearly place USC, Penn State, Michigan and Texas ahead of us is silly. We are all the same right now. We have resources and history but have been crap shows since our last stud coach departed.

ALL programs are as good as their coach. Bama sucked for a while. So did Notre Dame. There was a 5 year debate on if their academic standards made them unable to compete and suddenly they are back. Michigan and USC were once thought of as THE elite programs. They are currently poo. All situations are fluid.

I’m hoping Freeze as well but how has he been publicly campaigning for the job?

I think he’s made it known he would be interested in this job ahead of others. I don’t have a link, but his interest and comments about the job here has been reported by others in the media.

Meaningless if the program doesn’t come close to the facilities. We haven’t been a top 20 program since....I’ll add the year later.
Edit: 2008. That’s irrefutable fact.

It’s arguable that the out of the top 10 jobs in the country...6/7 of those are in the SEC...math

A lot of people have no idea that Clemson won before Dabo. Not national titles. But, they won

Clemson was around 33rd in the nation in winning percentage pre-Dabo and his extremely elite winning percentage has moved them up 2 percent over his entire career to date. That puts Clemson behind the top 12 or so programs by about 5 or 6 percent in winning percentage. Clemson is not a top 25 program, but are an elite team with Dabo.

Sadly I think that's the issue. Fulmer, I respect the hell outta that man, but he's stuck in 1998. I don't think he has it in him to hire a coach that understands today's game or can adapt to the ever-changing process of college football. 3rd down for what.......oh no we run it again!

I hate to see him go but UT HAS to have somebody at the reins that can make good business moves while actually understanding what it takes to be a winner on multiple fronts. I don't think that's Phil anymore.
We went thru Hamilton, who, IMO is absolutely responsible for our current state of affairs, Hart, who did nothing but screw up, and Currie who was a total cluster***k. I like Fulmer at the helm because he's 10X better than anyone we've had since Dickey--and he's 100% behind the football program and willing to stand up for it.
