Pruitt "obviously" in trouble

This controversy and the very real possibility that Pruitt gets fired is actually alot of fun...since simply winning doesn't seem to be an option we are most times not afforded...a fun controversial coach firing and search is oddly a source of hope. The speculation is fun. Hey ...if they won't let us enjoy any wins...a controversial coaching change and search is at least interesting. Bring on the bogus insiders...the controversy....the drama. Let's do this.

Totally agree! I was wondering what excitement, if any, we would have to look forward to in the off season. We have been granted pure, unadulterated entertainment, gnashing of teeth, name calling and one upsmanship for weeks to come...along with Vols basketball. God is good!

Think about. You’re comparing Leach to the likes of Tommy Tuberville in his washed up days and Kliff K who scrubbed out and left the college game. Meanwhile Mullen is being compared to 2 out of his 4 predecessors in Urban and Spurrier given how he has strayed his Florida career. Hmmmmm

I don’t understand your argument. Everyone knows it’s much easier to win at Florida than Texas Tech, Washington State, and Mississippi State.

Geez, you can beat a dead horse like nobody else. Tiresome.
Agreed. Let me sum up everyone of his posts. Doesn’t like Freeze; Doesn’t like Leach; Loves Fulmer; Loves Mullen.

Tiresome. Is there a mute button here?

Wow... So you really believe that Mullen was offered the Florida HC job, primarily, because he was an assistant on Meyer's staff that won NCs there, and not because of the job he did as an HC at Mississippi State?

LOL.

Never said that at all. The sad fact of the matter is you believed Mullen never coached at Miss State for 9 years and thought he just jumped to Head Coach at Florida from OC.

The fact is Mullen is no where near as bad of coach as Leach. Mullen got a shot at a big time program in less than Leach ever has. But for all of Leach’s greatness, he’s always been a coach at the little sisters of the poor. Amazing for such a great coach to have never gotten big time offer. It’s almost like he’s not that good as advertised or something.

It's really not that interesting. Honest, it's not. We can all see what Mullen has accomplished. Great for him. He wanted to be at Florida and they wanted him at Florida. It's a good match with history. They scared Alabama half to death. They're very good.

Well when we have people that honestly think Mullen never coached at MSU for 9 years and just up and went from OC to HC at Florida, it’s amazing to see their thought process.

LOL, where did I say that I'd didn't know that Mullen was the HC as Mississippi State?

Is this just another attempt at you trying to distance yourself from your poorly-thought-out argument?

I can go back and quote your posts for you again if you need to refresh yourself.

I literally am not distancing from anything.... You are literally the only person who is saying and who took it as Mullen got the job at Florida because he was OC there and that it had nothing to do with the 9 years of coaching at MSU. I guess you also need to be spoon fed the fact the AD that hired him at Florida was also his AD at Starkville for a good bit too. Context clues man go a long way.

But thank you for the reminder going forward. I will be sure to include every obvious fact because you are either a troll and not smart enough to use context clues when a discussion on a pretty common knowledge topic is brought up.

I'm going to be nice and say you are simply a troll given how you took a Mullen v Leach debate and found some way to not only insert yourself, but insert a jab at Pruitt for the sake of it.

Congrats, we now know you need everything spoon fed to you so you can keep up with a conversation.

Here you go, just for you:

139-90 with zero appearances in conference title games.
Trying to remember, how many conference title games was Mullen in before he went to Florida?
Zero. However, he was former coach at Florida during two natty’s and a Heisman campaign developed by him.

You are simply a dense individual.

I’m not the one making personal attacks because I don’t like what someone has to say. Welcome to the internet where people can disagree and think what they want...and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Except for, you know, hurling insults.

Tennessee had its opportunity to back Pruitt and it didn't, Tennessee has set itself up for failure again with its fanbase. The mob won't settle for anyone but Freeze at this point and we will have Schiano Sunday all over again. In 2017 some people actually believed that Gruden was really coming to UT, Currie had a chance to put those rumors to bed and he didn't, in fact he egged it on and had fun with the fanbase. How did that end?

Similar things are happening now and it's going to end badly

It was pure speculation on my part. But I think it would be naive to believe that after seeing how this season turned out and what came out yesterday regarding an investigation that the big boosters would be happy to just let Phil do what he wants (which is nothing). I am sure more will come out in the next week.

You earned it by say nonsensical stuff that is contrary to all the information out there.

Coaching at Iowa State is like coaching at Mississippi State. You can only do so much there. If your good enough you will leave for greener pastures. Which is what Johnny Majors and Gene Chizik did.

Meyer isn't coming here. We should probably just give up that idea. And neither is Freeze. The others you mentioned would be more realistic possibilities. I would prefer Derek Mason as DC over Muschamp.
Freeze stated UT is his dream job! Chadwell grew up a UT fan so I’m sure he would love the opportunity
