It wasn't our worst season ever, we've had more than one season where we won just 1 game and a few more with less than 4 wins. Worst in our lifetime sure, but not worst ever. Just because you say it repeatedly doesn't make it true.

I was there.

Pruitt is right all you that sat at home without a legit reason should have been there.

Free game, free parking, etc.

If you had to work that is a legit reason. If you live far away that is a legit reason. If you are 6+ months pregnant, that’s a legit reason.

If you sat at home and watched it on TV because you don’t like the crowds then that’s not a legit reason. Honestly I didn’t want to go because the spring games aren’t that fun but I went for the recruits and team working their ass off.

Go Vols!

Really now? Quick, somebody tell Pruitt to turn his rings in. Better tell Kirby, Jimbo, Muschamp, et. al. that theirs from their coordinator days don't count either. Guess they'll have to rely on good looks and charm to make it as head coaches.

So you consider kirby and muschamp nc winning coaches or were they part of a team that won an nc? See the difference?

Would you rather have a head coach that can put 5 rings on his fingers to show the kids you’ve been there and have a clue what you are talking about , or a coach that can’t ?

Due to work i wasnt able to watch, but judging by the threads on vn, and the fact that we are arguing over jp comments and other nonsense, that tell the product on the field isnt worth talking about. How exciting.

Id rather have a coach that wins games. Not shows off rings with a flippin A on them off as proof that he needs to come to Tennessee.

Yeah, ill give you that. But i still think that a solid performance during the season will do more for recruiting than anything.

Hasn’t had a “ real game “ here yet . They are trying to bring in better recruits by using everything that’s available to them , I think he addressed what was on the field today also and said we have a lot of work to do .
