I'm still stunned that after these two games, Pruitt still has the gall to talk about how well JG practices. As if he's incapable of reconciling the fact that his practice skills do not translate to actual game day performances.

And just how many games or practices has mcleroy seen from maurer or shrout, none, so how could he even know that.

Unless UTC is more like a HD team we wont smoke them with jg, unless they literally cant stop our run game. Jg certainly wont do it

If you want to be honest not much of anyone has seen many practices because they are closed to the public. I’ve been saying all along.....there’s a reason for that. I may get hosed for this because I did before but I have been to a couple practices. My eyes stayed glued to the qbs. People don’t like it when you tell them not to believe everything they read.

He stayed on Buchannan for a long time, then went back and chewed some more.

Think you’re right. Kind of like when an NFL team tanks for a high draft pick. Feel bad for our WR’s who won’t have good numbers going forward into the pros. Not sure how I’ll react as the losses mount.

He stayed on Buchannan for a long time, then went back and chewed some more.

I didn't see a lot of support form JGs team mates.
Is Coach Weinke working with JG on the sidelines during games?

Tennessee could be looking at a 1-6 start to the 2019 season and if that is the case, CJP should be giving Shrout or Maurer some snaps.

Shrout redshirted last year, so the 4 game rule doesn't affect him. There is no reason not to play him, from an eligibility standpoint.

Maurer can be used in 4 games this year without burning a redshirt. So there is nothing to gain by not playing him some in four. But there is experience to gain by playing him. Sadly, GSU, BYU, and Chatt should've all been chances to get in 3 games for him. Followed by UAB in early November. But now, nothing realistic.

Pruitt is getting 3 years at least. The buyout for him and Chaney and other staff is high and who is going to come to UT right now? Fulmer's going to give him a chance to rebuild this program and it takes a minimum of 3 years.
