Anyone is expecting a good year in 2018 is an idiot
You realize the talent on the roster is the bottom half in the SEC we have very few NFL prospect or different markers on the entire rosterI don't think anyone is expecting a good year but if the record is not the same or better than 2017, folks will question whether we upgraded. Some may even question that if the record is the same.
But would you really think things were okay if at the end of the year we were 2-10 or 3-9? The honeymoon will be over before the first year ends if that is the case.
He had better win at least 5.

Ed, when the average VN.com participant neither knows nor cares who Scott Pruitt is, it should not surprise you that most responses will completely fail to acknowledge the right third of that cartoon (really, anything beyond the thread title).
But you probably could've predicted that. Maybe you did. You pot stirrer, you.

Let's revisit this after a 2-6 start.
Truthfully it wont be a miracle if they win 7 either. Some of the perceived "talent" issues are development issues. I don't know how good of a manager Pruitt is, but he knows development and his staff has a solid track record for that as well.
Time will tell.
