Pruitt keeps his job if...

The first salvo comes from Columbia.

Boyd needs to go to our big money people and ask if they will pay the buyouts for a big name.
If they say yes, he gives Fulmer a list and says that Phil can contact their agents or he will.
LOL! I’m sure all the bigs are listening.

That's not how this works.
That's not how any of this works.

He doesn’t know everything but Doug Matthews is good friends with Fulmer. He said this morning on his show that Pruitt will be back next year, regardless of the outcome of this season. He was very adamant stating there has not and will not be any conversation about Pruitt being relieved as head coach.

I guess Pruitt could always leave on his own as 2020 has been a crazy year, but he will not be fired after this season.
Not what I read posted on hereby legit insiders.

nice try, but this is Tennessee, the dollar general of the SEC

My personal opinion is that Pruitt is going nowhere after this year, unless he looses to Vandy. If he shows progress (meaning HB gets significant playing time the rest of the way), then he is off the hot seat for this year, provided he beats Vandy.

Very likely how this will play out. But, if Pruitt loses to Vandy that means he has lost the team and needs to go asap.

I honestly believe blowout losses to Auburn, A&M, and Florida or at least two more blowouts and a loss to the other will equal a firing this year. There's my big board of coaches I'd take a hard look at. And none of them would break the bank exactly. Franklin only if he's fired by PSU but the bigwigs up there and him don't exactly see eye-to-eye and with a season like this I wouldn't be surprised if he's asked to leave so they can try to get Luke Fickell or Tom Allen. What “big name” would touch this team with a billion dollar pole? Dysfunctional fans and broken players. SMH
