Muschamp is about 8-1 vs Tenn. Last game was the first loss to the Vols.

Remember he has to play Georgia, Florida and Alabama every year. Eventually, we will get competitive with them again.

Oh JP will keep his job for the 2 Cs ( Covid, much, Cash, very little).. That said- he is a total idiot.. Add on reason- Fulmer will have to admit he chose poorly. So get used to sub 500 football for at least 1 more year, if not 2. The 6th circle of Hell is reserved for politicians, child molesters and fans of Vol FB

What is your point? he Was at Florida for a lot of those and right now we lose to everyone so that doesn’t mean he is worth having as a coach.

People are looking for progress, they want to see that we are getting better, receivers running better routes, QB throwing more accurate passes, team making more first down, getting better in the red zone, better open field tackling, better secondary coverage.

When you look at the fundamentals it is not getting better it is getting worse, Poor tackling, no pass rush at all, none. Where are the blitz's and DE pressure? We can't even stop those quick slants over the middle, and they run them game after game. How can that happen? One game, ok get it fixed. We can't fix it still a problem all season.

Except for the 3rd period, the pass rush against Arky was much improved. It took too long for the offense and the defense to adjust in the 3rd period. By the time they made adjustments, with JG on the bench, we had no chance to recover. I just don't understand why our OL is still not elite. Are our sophomore OT's not as good as advertised? WTH is the problem?

The athletic dept. will be financially strapped until we can get thru a regular season with fans filling the seats. Pruitt will be here thru 2021. I doubt the athletic dept. will be in good enough shape financially to fire any coaches that have buyouts until after 2022.

Nah FSU is flat broke. but did not stop them for canning Taggart after 18 mo. Samje for Arkansas with Morris. They still paying Bielama.

he lands some QB that turns out to be like Dobbs.......and wins games in spite of Pruitt.

But make no mistake......after that player leaves.......Pruitt would soon as well.

If fans don’t fill the seats? How are they gonna afford it then? If your recruiting classes start falling apart and you lose the locker room then at what point do you do what needs to be done for the kids sake?

But none of that is happening at this point. The games the rest of the season are sold out to the extent that they can be and there are about 35,000 season tickets that are already paid for in 2021. The biggest players in Tennessee's 2021 class have reaffirmed their commitments. No indication they've lost the locker room.

Certainly, based on results, anything could happen after the 2021 season. But there's zero chance you see a change before then. Most people saw this as a 4-year project when Pruitt was hired coming off the worst season in UT history. Year four will be very important, but he's getting the fourth year no matter how much we piss and moan on here or on Twitter.

That's about his only saving grace. After what happened last year versus Alabama everyone here who thought we'd be competitive this year versus GA, AL and FL were right to feel that way??? To get blown out double digits by our main rivals year after year after year is inexcusable. Time to move on. Time to see if a real coach can make hay out of Pruitt's recruits and build even further on that. Our rivals don't settle for coaching mediocrity and neither should we. If a coach ain't up to turning a roster in 3 years and being competitive he aint good enough to get us where we want to be. Pruitt is nowhere near competitive with big time football. Let's move on...

Coaching at the University of Tennessee is a privilege. That's why it's such a high paid job. It comes with expectations.

Under no scenario could it be said that Jeremy Pruitt has met expectations. Not even close. And he's not getting better, over 30 games into his tenure.

He has had all the opportunity he gets. Time to move on.
