Absolutely agree he needs to learn but to react to that at all is just asking for trouble in today’s day and age. They want you to over react to try and get you in a jam.

I wasn't referring to you per se. Smart people are still dumb no matter your or even my IQ is. Look at the mess the world is in, smart people did this. And I don't mean just socio-political. Includes the nitwits who gave us plasticware, dumping trash and chemicals in water, indiscriminate opioids dispensing, and now vaping devices. Football or beyond that, smart people are still dumb. Not that I'm any better but I'm dumb and avergare enough to TRY to be better.

I understand what you are saying; however, I was making reference to students at our university, and requiring minimum academic standards-to include: basic reading, writing and math skills. Your examples are more of Evil people than dumb (IMHO). The opioid epidemic is being fueled by both big pharma and drug cartels-to the same end-maximizing their profit.

Got you, profit or not it's still just dumb. Most species don't try to kill themselves. OK, lemmings might be an exception but... 140flyer what you're saying was recognized decades back. matter-of-fact, I was part of a small group that tried to create a solution for our community on this issue. But like too many committees, lots of talk but no real action. We drafted a "passport to college" concept. The idea being for college teachers having compensated time off (few hours on weekends) to teach local kids from jr hs - hs alongside their regular teachers. Also, teach decision-making roommate selection, time budgeting and, well, you get the idea. Basically to provide skills needed to be a successful college student. It never got seriously implemented. Been on a lot of committees where this happened, all talk and no action.

Oh. So the cops/media/Administration/Society in General -----Want you to over-react to being arrested so you will be in a Jam? Lol. That's the most absurd statement (Not ever, this site is full of them) . Those Cops bent over backwards to try and get JB to cool it. HE WOULDN'T. WTHIWWYP?

The public does it all the time to try and say police do things they clearly aren’t doing or haven’t done.

Great post! I did not know about it, it does not come as any surprise. Anyone with any real world experience, after seeing the arrest videos, knew immediately what we were dealing with. I'd like to find out more about the Memphis arrest, and the vandalism, and how it suddenly disappeared.
