Pruitt screwed this kid over. The warrant that kid had should have been resolved. The school could have paid that ticket off for the kid. Banks did his part the school knew the kid situation, but Pruitt didn't make sure the situation was taking care of. Bad on coach Pruitt part.

I hope this was due to "new information" and not media pressure. Banks needed to apologize and make good, but based on the current information, this feels a bit overblown. He made a stupid comment to a cop. He didn't hurt anyone. And he was arrested for about as minor of a crime as you can be arrested for ('suspended license').

Suspend him a game or two; make him do some community service; apologize. I'm not seeing the rationale for dismissing him.
