You may be right. But that's what it looks like to the country at large. Thompson didn't have a video come out much less a 2nd one the same week.

I said basically the same thing in another thread. If the kid had just popped off and then let it go, but he just kept on jawing. Those that watched the entire video and continued to try and pretend it was a nothing burger look quite foolish. Then the second video was just too much. Pruitt had no choice at that point.

As a student conduct code violation, this incident falls under FERPA. There's no reason to think that Pruitt knew about this before when he said he found out. If someone says otherwise, well, that person doesn't know how compliance issues work on a college or university campus. I don't know the turnaround time down there on matters like this.

I hate it from a depth standpoint at LB, but most of all I hate it for Jeremy Banks. As many of you have posted, I hope he gets his life straightened out.

Also, I’ll add that this video didn’t seem that bad. Although it sounds like there’s more to it. Like a possible pattern of harassing women

I noticed that too. You know, in private conversations with my husband, I've mentioned people here and there being a thug. For me, "thug" is a behavior regardless of skin color.

True. I think Banks is probably not the brightest crayon in the box however. If Thompson had videos of his shenanigans, he'd probably sitting in the same boat.

I, for one, don't think he will unfortunately . It's not a matter of him choosing to make the wrong decision, but instead a matter of his inability to make a the right decision.

Very possible. What is hard to wrap my head around is in the society we live in now with social media and the fact that over 90% of our country has an instant recording device in their pockets it still is not a deterrent for some individuals.
