Pruitt dismisses Banks.

Why would he have been blood tested? They didn't arrest him for suspicion of DUI.
You are correct. He would not have been blood tested. It's possible that he has failed a urinalysis given by the athletic department but it's much more likely that Fulmer caved into pressure... and I'm not saying this wasn't the right decision. Tennessee just arrived at this point in their typically clumsy fashion. So now our coach looks like he is either not in control of his program, or very indecisive.

Pushing an agenda always ends well.

They need to have a program where incoming freshman are teamed up with a police officer. It will help both sides understand each other better and give them a new perspective. I sure it would form some strong bonds, as well. Maybe this is already being done.

This kind of stuff already happens, we just don’t hear about it from this administration. Fact is Banks was stopped for making an illegal U turn on campus, something I and many other students did a countless number of times while we were there, never getting in trouble. The cops were looking for a reason to pull Banks over, hoping to find weed. But that’s campus cops for you

Really hope this id due to new information that UT/CJP received and not because of media pressure.

I know some folks on here are happy about this but my question is. Were you this vocal in 2009 when Jackson & Richardson committed armed robbery in the lot of a convenience store?

Because Jackson wasn't dismissed until 2011 under Dooley for multiple failed drug tests.
Lol. Do you REALLY think people weren’t vocal against the players involved in that incredibly stupid and embarrassing situation? Especially guys like me who don’t want Banks affiliated with the program now? Come on man, you know the answer. No “gotcha” moment for you here.

Yep, Pruitt looks like more of a bumbling idiot than he already did.

This is 100% on Banks. Why do we coddle these “kids” when he is a 19 year old who is technically an adult. Yes, we all make stupid decisions when we are younger. However, telling a police officer “we shoot folks like you where I am from” and all the other idiocies that he stated reflects poorly on him as an individual. He needs some mentoring, sadly it won’t be from the coaches at UT. Wish him the best though
