Pruitt and VOLS took GSU for granted, will Indiana be the same?

I would that it is safe to say that they won't make that mistake again as Indiana is a far superior team than what GA State was and they are trying to make a statement that they are not the same team as the one that played the first two games this season.

They're not taking anyone for granted anymore.

Vols will come ready to rock!!!

We'll blanket the whole town in Tennessee Orange and make them like it.

Hoosier fans will be singing Rocky Top on their way home just from hearing it so much.

It's time to turn that town into Ktown2 .

We'll teach them to love CORNBREAD and they'll learn to say aight.

BEWARE...The Tennessee Vols and Vol Nation are making plans to invade and Dominate!!!

You have now been warned!

VFL...GBO!!!

IU is better than anyone Tenn has played since Alabama,, quit going off of name recognition, IU is a good team this year

Weren't you also concerned about UAB based off their record at 6-1 at the time they played UT? Similar situation. IU is better than UAB, but not as good as their record would lead you to believe. They did beat the teams they should have and lost to the teams they should have. Their wins were against teams having historically bad seasons, though. 8 teams with a collective 24-60 record is not very impressive.

50/50 chance. Game planning was pretty bad all year long but Chaney does have his hands tied pretty much on offense.

Based on what I’ve read from a segment of the fan base, they believe this game will be a walk in the park.... It’s the same comments we read before the GSU game.
no one commented on the GSU game because no one cared about the GSU game, even the players

This is an Indiana team that isnt that good at all, and we will exploit their weaknesses and our fans will outnumber theirs 7 or 8 to 1....

we will win going away

I really wish I could borrow Doc's Delorean for a few hours, go back in time and stop GA state from forming a Football Program that way people would quit bringing this **** up trying to make it relevant to every single game.

You might as well give up if you're hoping not to be reminded of that game. People will continue to talk about it for years. We still have posts and whole threads talking about Kiffin, Dooley and Butch and they've been gone for years. At least the Georgia State game is something that took place in the current season.

In a way, I'm glad we lost to them. The lesson learned from that loss could be extremely valuable.

I get what you mean and I've thought the same thing. Not glad, exactly. But it definitely gave us a place to rally from. Maybe they had to hit rock-bottom before they could find what they needed to start rising again. I've wondered if we would have finished like we did if we hadn't started so poorly.
