And Emmert just was extended until 2025 so saban will stay at bummer until then unless he strokes out, dies from covid, or a tornado hits tuscaloosa.Nothing will happen with LSU. Emmert was president at LSU and is the one who hired Little Nicky. I wouldn't be surprised if LSU has some dirt on Emmert. Bama is untouchable as long as Emmert is the NCAA president as he and Nick are very good friends. I don't think TN is powerless and now is the time to start using some leverage with this corrupt organization.
UGA is the flagship university in a state that produces over 200 D1 players/year. This doesn't count GA players that go to IMG. They are counted as FL players. A few years ago GA produced 17 D1 QBs. GA has produced the most SEC players for the past 11 years in a row. GA produces more 4 and 5 star players than California with 1/4th the population. GA produced more 1st round draft picks than any state in the nation in 2021.
The bottom line is, UGA doesn't have to buy players.

On taped phone calls played on "Outside the Lines", Propst says Kirby gets and retains players by "taking care of their families" and paying them "$90K-$150K", with the support of the "richest of the rich" UGA boosters from SW GA. Propst went on to say Kirby learned that from Saban. Propst later denied those statements were based in fact. But, as the HC at Hoover and Valdosta, he was in a position to know. Where do you think Pruitt learned what it takes to get and retain top tier players (Gray, Crouch & To'oto'o?)? Did Pruitt tell Propst about Saban's alleged player payments? Because the NCAA does not have the burden of proving the allegations in court, all they have to do is look at the vehicles driven by UGA and Bama players and the lifestyle improvement of their families to validate or discredit Propst's statements.
Don't hand McDonald's bags full of money to recruits. Get mom and dad a good job, or send them some money, like Nick and Kirby.
After. Propst was relieved of his duties March 2019 (giving kids illegal pills), UGA offered end of year 2019 (Nov/Dec 2019), he committed about a week before NSD in 2020.Yeah your right offer would’ve been before Kirby was hired. Fact check this one, but I think Daijuan Edwards was offered before Propst “left” CC so he would’ve been in the middle of that recruitment.

Correct. Recruits: When you grow up in state and root for the home team, the team is better than average, with solid potential to go pro... you don't have to pay. Players go to institutions that gives them the best chance to turn pro. Trey Hill slid in the draft because cornbread and lack of development.
Sammy was a rat POS. The wiretaps are what put Gotti away though, Gravano mainly helped just identify what people's nicknames were and what their relationship to each other was. They didn't have to rely on him too much, Gotti hung himself running his mouth. I studied that whole deal pretty extensively for a project my third year in law school. Fascinating stuff.Sammy The Bull Gravano was a murderer & mafia leader but he was under oath & helped put John Gotti away for life. Not all low life's lie all the time
Yes very familiar with it my. Sammy has the best YouTube channel now telling unbelievable storiesSammy was a rat POS. Players family members have been "Loaned" new cars for years. When the player is driving it, it's merely "on loan". No transfer...no financial traceable benefit. My line coach played at Bama in the Namath years. One of the incentives he told me about when he wanted to take me there on a recruiting trip was the envelopes stuffed with cash that were slipped under the doors in the player's dorm on Friday night before gameday. Cash in McDonald's bags is nothing new or creative. Geeezzz, C'mon Man...sure, the NCAA can do some kind of "Crack Down". Drop the hammer, call in the FBI...and the whole thing ($$$$$ to players) will simply submerge and be done more creatively. Maybe player's families suddenly find themselves with a bank account in the Cayman Islands ????I was playing golf at a course in Knoxville in 1979 when a very famous UT player showed up in a new corvette. I can guarantee that his family could not afford it. He came from a very poor big city neighborhood. So it has been going on for some time.
YUP.I think it is kind of like rape in prison... Everyone knows that it happens, but how do you stop it? What do you do? How do you police a donor making a cash drop to a recruits family. You can not stop it. Everyone involved in the deal is dirty so know one will talk because they would incriminate themselves.

This is the game and anyone who thinks it is "pure" doesn't want to know the truth. In every major sport where boosters put their influence on these programs there is money changing hands. Until someone goes to jail for it, or a school gets their sports programs shut down it will continue to happen.
If anyone actually cared this could be taken care of by the IRS relatively quickly.
So, how much did we pay Peyton to come here, you reckon?
Your assessment is that uga doesn't have to cheat because there is lots of talent in the state? A quick look at the roster I see players from CA, NV, FL and NC just right off the top. Why? Doesn't uga only have the best players from the state? But then why doesn't uga get all the best players from Georiga? A quick look at rivals shows the number 1 player in the state and 3 of the top 10 are all committed to... Ohio State? Only 1/10 so far committed to uga? Second, someone living in Georgia doesn't automatically make them a uga fan anymore than someone living in Tennessee is automatically a UT fan. And even when they are UT fans in the likes of Trevor Lawrence and Amari Rodgers, they don't just go to their favorite school. According to Inky Johnson, most of your talented recruits aren't even CFB fans, they are NFL fans and their desire is to get to the NFL whichever way possible.UGA is the flagship university in a state that produces over 200 D1 players/year.
