Who said it was safe and secure? Also, to be fair - I think the argument is that Trump attempted to collude, not that he succeeded.

I'm sure there were Democrats who said that the 2016 election was stolen... there are nuts on both sides. The difference here, is that Hillary Clinton conceded defeat the morning after the 2016 election and then-President Barack Obama cooperated fully with Donald Trump's transition team. Obama even invited Trump to the White House within a week of the election and also attended Trump's inauguration. There was a stark contrast between how the respective party leadership conducted themselves.

What about carrying out drone strikes on private citizens. That sounds great. Calling Trump supporters domestic terrorist. The only General who was fired was David Petraeus as CIA Chief. That was because of the Paula Broadwell affair. Gen. Stanley McChrystal was forced to resign the Afghanistan command following the Rolling Stone article. Neither really had to do with Obama's "agenda". Unlike the many examples of Trump's vindictiveness.

Democrats objected to 7 states electoral votes in 2016 compared to 6 by Republicans in 2020.

Impeachment claims emerged immediately.

Almost 70 Dem leaders boycotted the inauguration.

It was more than "nuts on both sides". Democratic leadership was full on claiming the election was illegitimate.

Hillary has continually indicated she was screwed out of the job.

None of this excuses Trump's claims but to say it was just a few nuts ignores the reality of how Dem elected officials reacted to the lawful election of Trump.

If you say so... I don't care enough to look back and fact check this. However, Hillary Clinton conceded defeat the morning after the election while giving a very gracious concession speech in the process (something Trump never did). She also attended Trump's inauguration. The Obama Administration cooperated fully with the Trump transition team beginning the week of the 2016 election... This is true even though the outcome in the electoral college was exactly the same as in 2020 (306 to 232).

Lie, I just went and counted and I think there was 17 gen and admirals booted by Obama. That’s not counting col. and under. But believe what you want.
