Nobody ever said he was living a meager existence. I’m sure between his shoe deal, his apparel money and whatever else he’s got going that he’s living on a nice chunk of change. You just hope these guys can 1) get that second contract with some guaranteed money; 2) get out before they’re wrecked physically; 3) have the financial sense to park a few million in a solid investment vehicle that will yield them income for the rest of their lives. It's funny how grown men get sucked in by headlines like these. He doesn't spend the million he makes from NFL, he just spends the MILLIONS he makes from sponsors. Oh, how good of him. I'm impressed by his athletic ability, but not his financial ability. His story is pretty much the same as every other young black NFL star, watched single mom struggle, taught him values, blah blah blah. Heard it before. Lets see where he's at 5 years after retirement. You guys think this dude doesn't spend thousands of dollars weekly? I guarantee you he hes wastes more money than you spend on necessities.

Very smart but I do hope he gets some assistance on investing that money. Could be generational
I am now on the side that he needs to be used more by UT. Anyone watching the NFL knows him and he could be a draw

Not even, I'm just pointing out media manipulation as evidence by some of the comments. They actually think he's a conservative spender being a millionaire. No, he just makes so many millions from other means he doesn't have to spend the NFL money. Like I said, wait till the endorsements dry up, and lets see if he's still following his mothers values. Like I said, I'm impressed by his athletic ability, not his financial choices. He had diamonds in his mouth worth close to a million dollars or more correct? Yeah, great financial person.Somebody sippin the hatorade
Pretty close. Only $ 983,555 away from $1M.He had diamonds in his mouth worth close to a million dollars or more correct? Yeah, great financial person.
I'm a Saints fan. Payton does not over-use Kamara. He likes to get him in one-on-one situations and let his athletic ability lead to a big play. Kamara doesn't take near as many hard hits as most NFL RB's because of his elusiveness and the way Payton uses him. I don't see that changing. Kamara could be very good for 5-8 more years. Kamara is the best RB I've seen at avoiding contact since Barry Sanders. But, he doesn't run the ball between tackles near as much as Sanders did.I doubt the Saints plan to keep him on a shelf.
Would mean less wear and tear, but he wouldn't be earning his salary that way.
