Fulmer as AD will be a HUGE mistake!
All serious coaches want to know who their boss/AD is going to be for several years and that there's stability at the AD position.
Fulmer is NOT that guy and he's NOT qualified to be our AD.
Blackburn should have been hired as our AD after Hart and most on here know that.
Right this minute, before the press release of Fulmer as our AD, we all need to protest and blow up social media to hire Blackburn as our AD right NOW!
Blackburn is a Tennessee guy and has worked in the AD before and he will revamp our AD, get things in good order and he'll hire us a great coaching staff that knows how to recruit against anyone because he'll know that his job is also on the line.
We all need to be screaming HIRE BLACKBURN NOW and get the fan protest going as fast as we can so we get a good coaching staff hired and they can get busy recruiting good players.
VFL...GBO!!!
First. you are assuming Fulmer will automatically be installed as AD. He may be, he may not be. I'm hearing an assistant of Currie's may very well take over as AD at least temporary. Second, I have heard (so far it has been the case), that only candidates with HC experience will be considered. That would explain why Tee has not even received a phone call. If that holds true I suppose Cut would normally be a possibility, but he said several days ago, he was not interested in the UT job. Why would he be? Duke is a much better fit for him at this juncture in his career. That leaves current and former college and pro HC's with UT ties, assuming your belief that Fulmer will be named AD, which I do not believe is a given. Possibility, yes, given, no.Maybe tunnel vision, but using logic of folks associated with Fulmer who have already been mentioned as possible candidates. Who you got for VFL HC?
STFU about gruden, he isnt an alum, or anything, stop he has absolutely no bearing on this situation at all.

"Due to the irregularities in this years coaching search we have decided to take a new approach and promote coach Brady hoke on a 1 year contract, we will re-evaluate after next season with Phil fulmer leading that search"
