I was talking about his entire post. But he does have a point in the part you quoted (although I doubt he knows what it is). It wouldn't take but a couple years to drill our way into having oil running out of our ears, what would take a decade plus because of bad policy and short-term thinking is expanding our refining and distribution capacity.

His basic argument on oil is that its bad on the world's climate. His "plan" is for OPEC to produce more oil. That does nothing for the climate. We have oil here that he refuses to allow for drilling and production. So he's saying it's ok for OPEC to f@@k up the world's climate and screw the american people in the process by making us pay higher gas prices. Yeah some plan.

Well, like I said you are not going to like the plan.

The goal is less people, less consumption and more government dependencies. Its not stupid to them, its simple a plan. You are just expendable. They would rather people like you that don't like "the plan" to just find a tall building and take a walk... that way they don't have to do it for you.
