President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

He's a heath professional. Has first hand experience with it. I rarely agree with his ideological takes, but he is spot on right here.
Health care professional or not. If indegents are not provided health care the local hospitals will have to eat the cost of treatment. Some rural hospitals will go under. BTW I spent military career as a Hospital Corpsman. I know my way around an ER.

Actual video of Charlie Kirk making his ridiculous statements vs a letter by Obama where he doesn't actually say what @Vol8188 wishes he has said so it wouldn't just be a reinterpretation in his head.

Totally the same thing.
You LITERALLY posted the tweet that blatantly misquoted CK in an effort to assassinate his character.

"Christian beliefs"

My position is that Kirk's admitted lack of love empathy for immigrants is antithetical to the teachings of Christ.

Which the post I responded to demanded "proof" that Kirk's beliefs were at odds with his professed faith.

Can you find me a quote where Charlie said that he doesn't love immigrants, or was that just your reinterpretation?

During Kirk's comments, he said he didn't care for the word "empathy" and instead preferred "sympathy." The Oxford English Dictionary defines empathy as "the ability to understand and share the feelings of another." Meanwhile, the same dictionary defines sympathy as "feelings of pity and sorrow for someone else's misfortune."

You have to literally reinterpret Obama's words and apply meaning that doesn't exist in the actual text to justify Trump's actions, and you still wonder why people consider MAGA a cult.

You give people Medicaid and they still use the ER for nonsense. I had a patient go to the ER recently to discuss her hsv (herpes) diagnosis. Something she could have literally just called me about.

Giving people insurance doesn’t decrease ER abuse. If anything it makes it more likely because now they don’t have to worry about cost
Honestly, ER abuse is one of the biggest wastes of Medicaid money. WITHOUT QUESTION, my patients with TennCare are the most likely to go to ETCH or an outlying ER with cold symptoms, minor injuries, etc that are much more appropriately seen in my office. However, the ER is free and they don't need an appointment, so there's no deterrent to wasting taxpayer money and the ER staff's time.

Most private insurance carries a much higher copay for ER visits, so they will wait and see me unless it's a true emergency.

This is a massive lie the left has been telling for at least 2 decades now. The idea that hospitals are full because lack of insurance. The data doesn’t back it up.

Just to verify... ER visits are not free for non-emergency, uninsured patients, correct? So, it would be a bit ridiculous to go to the most expensive form of care when you don't have insurance?

when people have no skin in the game they don’t care.
