President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Pleurisy might be a better example, since I’m sure we shouldn’t be paying for non-citizen vaccines either.

Hospital has to weigh its interest in getting paid versus diagnosing/treating the kid and then being able to counsel parents to keep them away from infants and the immunocompromised who can’t be vaccinated.

That will cause public health ramifications that nobody in this conversation seems to have considered.
Pleurisy is inflammation of tissue lining the lungs. It can be caused by many things. The inflammatory agent may not be contagious.

Sounds like you're aiming for something contagious...viral or bacterial.

My bad. Whooping cough.

Edit: Pertussis is the bacteria, maybe I got the words mixed up.

Then leave it up to hospitals to absorb the loss.

This is a massive lie the left has been telling for at least 2 decades now. The idea that hospitals are full because lack of insurance. The data doesn’t back it up.

You give people Medicaid and they still use the ER for nonsense. I had a patient go to the ER recently to discuss her hsv (herpes) diagnosis. Something she could have literally just called me about.

Giving people insurance doesn’t decrease ER abuse. If anything it makes it more likely because now they don’t have to worry about cost

Says a person how's argument is "he didn't actually say it but what he meant was...".

He said the House of Representatives which was controlled by republicans. Blaming the house is the same in that scenario as blaming republicans.

It’s beyond retarded to argue otherwise

We just shouldn’t let them in if we are concerned with vaccine status

What's "beyond retarded" is to read a copy of the actual letter, and continue to pretend that Obama said something that's not in the letter, because it makes you feel better about Trump's Hatch Act violations.

please.
You are playing the absolutes game so typical of righties.

Righties..."there is absolutely no room for compromise"

Righties..."oh yea, you're playing the exception-rule game"

pro-tip---- (the exceptions are the basis of the compromise).....spread the word

Sometimes compromise isn’t acceptable.

I believe he just offered a compromise if you think about it.

I find it funny he posted that after his "Charlie Kirk said..." posts. Truly hilarious in an incredibly sad way.

Actual video of Charlie Kirk making his ridiculous statements vs a letter by Obama where he doesn't actually say what @Vol8188 wishes he has said so it wouldn't just be a reinterpretation in his head.

Totally the same thing.

You have no clue

Because our civilized society currently demands it.
Oh, I interpreted that as a moral statement, as opposed to a legal statement. So, if that law is changed, that "should" will change?

But it seems like you're back peddling in the face of the question. You are claiming that they ARE forced to. You said they "should" be forced to.

Sure they should be forced.

An emergency room should be forced to treat a child with life threatening injuries.

Why "Should" they be forced to? What's the "should" behind the current mandate?

Not how that works
