President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

A lot of people do. You just can’t see beyond your distain

There are plenty of people like you who think his moronic statements are some comedic extension of his personality. That, I do not doubt.

The kids call it copium. I call it being unable to admit that the horse you bet on is an aging, old nag who's not all there.

Whatever makes you feel better.

"The Trump administration stepped in to stop U.S. Steel from idling operations at its Granite City, Ill., plant, exercising new powers tied to the company’s recent takeover, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The steelmaker had informed nearly 800 workers that the plant would close in November, noting however that they would still be paid. But after Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick warned CEO Dave Burritt the administration wouldn’t allow it, U.S. Steel reversed course on Friday, saying the facility would keep rolling slabs into sheet steel, the Journal reported, citing a person familiar with the matter.

The intervention marked Trump’s first use of so-called “golden share” rights, a condition of the $14.1 billion takeover by Japan’s Nippon that cleared in June. The national-security agreement gave the White House veto power over plant closures, offshore production shifts and other strategic decisions.

“U. S. Steel will continue to supply slabs to Granite City,” a spokesperson for U.S. Steel told CNBC. “Our goal was to maintain flexibility, and we are pleased to have found a solution to continue to slab consumption at Granite City.”

I was trying to be nice in my assessment of his speaking ability just to find some common ground. Trump's speeches are a joke

You just called me a dipshit for not being able to properly rank medical programs for you.

You clearly aren’t very good at this whole trying to be nice thing

Limited number of slots available in their pre-med programs. Is limit a new word for you?

Let me help you out here. When you simply say they “have limits”, there’s numerous possibilities for what you meant. Here’s two of them.

1. They have limits on previous test scores or GPAs for admission. You could have been arguing that there’s a lack of qualified American born candidates.

2. You went with the limited number of seats in the program. That only helps my argument. If there’s less space available, we should want more Americans in those spaces given that foreign born students are significantly more likely to leave the country after graduation.

Hopefully this helped you better understand the term “limits” and its possible meanings in the given context

Ok. Yes, we need doctors. That being said, some of the best pre-med undergraduate programs have limits. Especially at smaller D3 Universities who are pipelines to some of the best med schools. And law schools too

The ability to pronounce generic medication names is obviously how we should pick our political leaders.
When you come out say that a medicine is causing autism with no evidence whatsoever and can't even pronounce the name of the medicine, it looks pretty ridiculous. Tylenol is about to sue Trump into oblivion.

Man, I've never seen someone go out of their way so hard to defend themselves. No wonder you like Trump. You share the same fragile ego and thin skin

“With no evidence whatsoever” couldn’t be more of a false statement. It was major news within the last couple of years about a study linking Tylenol to autism. In pregnancy in general there’s still a lot of questions regarding numerous medications. When treating pregnant patients I intentionally mention it. My basic speech is something like this:

Tylenol is often considered safe in pregnancy, but even with Tylenol we have at least one study suggesting a possible link to autism. So in general less medication is more when you’re pregnant.

The problem with pregnancy is you cannot actually conduct studies where you treat one group and not the other, so all the data we have is very limited and most of it comes from animal studies.
