President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Thanks for the good information. I know Koreans, Chinese, et al often work SEA (at jobs locals can do) on non-employment visa types under an 'understanding' with the host country. I was hopeful that we're not that level of banana republic yet. I wonder how many of those 450 were doing something that a local could have done.
no clue on the last. but there are apparently like ~8000 other workers there, so I can buy this chunk being a specialized group trying to sneak thru the cracks.

That would be majority of the voters. So he’s doing exactly what the voters voted him in for. You can call it what you want, or lean into Webster’s to find another word you like.
About half of the slightly less than 50% he got voted for him because he was the lesser of two evils. It's one of the more ignorant takes so far this week that Trump has been a unifying force. Laughably ignorant. His actions directly contradicting that claim. Jxn Vol must live in a cave

How were they legally cleared if they didn't have work visas?

It's because our immigration laws are dizzying, stupid, and counter-productive, which is why we never enforced them with a hammer until now.

Imagine having all 3 branches of the government and instead of fixing and clarifying anything, we just go Draconian on the existing BS.

Loser mentality answer. Just a spin that simpletons have bought into.

That's true and very fair to point out. The American people are getting what they voted for .... which is more bitter division.

Hopefully, there will come a time when we can all rally around a unifying, and fully committed leader. I'm losing hope on it ever happening in my lifetime.

Most Republicans (not including Sen. Rand Paul and Sen. Thom Tillis) are receptive to socialistic policies, involving the intervention of the federal government into the private sector, when those policies are being implemented by Donald Trump. The cries of socialism from the right are obviously selective outrage.

Donald Trump is slowly dissolving one of the Republican Party's best platforms for attacks against Democrats - that they are socialists - with his own socialistic agenda, which few Republicans in Congress are speaking out against.

Facts, and you're the only one spinning. You dumbed downed Trumpers were already unified. I suppose you are even more unified now
If people didn’t want Harris to win, they could have opted out and stayed home. Harris voters or those token new independents chip “lesser of two evils” with the result after they lost, again. EC and popular, if we are discussing facts.

Dumbed down is being told who to vote for.

Which has nothing to do with the silly notion that Trump is unifying the country. Nice try

Yeah. I've been saying it for years, he's destroying the right from within as only a left-wing politician could. They'll have nothing left to say to the left about anything by the time he's done. Family values angle is destroyed. Corruption concerns are destroyed. Concern at all for deficits = done. Concerns over market intevention = done. Concerns about straight up socialism = over.

Again, like always you’re trying to dance not knowing the song. Get rhythm and come back. This was in response to Trump doing what majority of the country wanted, nothing to do with unifying. Regroup and come back when you’re ready

Neither is anyone calling people who voted for Trump "dumbed-down" or "uneducated," yet here we are.
I know a lot of smart people who voted for Trump. Most of them voted for him because he was the lesser of two evils. I'm talking about people who actually like him and proudly support everything he does regardless of the consequences. That's only about 30-35% of the country.

I would actually estimate more like 10-20%. Most of my friends, colleagues, and family voted for Trump, but very few of us "like" him as a person or support his antics. Between the two choices presented, Trump aligned more with our positions on key issues, and we saw him as more capable of leading the most powerful country and military on Earth. That's how voting works.

Nonetheless, many libs (including several in this forum) lump all of us into "Dumb MAGA," which is a) divisive, and b) creates an inflammatory galvanization against the Democratic party.

For the record, I have always drawn a line between the groups of Trump voters. I don't include you and some of the others who voted for him in that red hat group.
