The Origins of Red and Blue States - Electoral Vote Map
NBC and CBS used blue for Republican wins and red for Democratic states in the 1976 presidential election between Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford. ABC News opted to use yellow for Republicans, blue for Democrats, and red for states …
I get your point, but I also feel that this division was taking place starting in 2008.
I wasn't talking about how individual states are color-codified by which party is most likely to win their statewide elections.
I was talking about how Donald Trump shows favoritism to states that are Republican Party strongholds as opposed to those which are Democratic Party strongholds. This has most recently been exemplified by how Trump is framing the relocation of Space Command from Colorado to Alabama as a "victory" for his administration and for Republicans.
Donald Trump has no interest in being the President of every state. He clearly perceives American citizens who reside in "blue" states to be his enemies. This country is sharply divided at the moment, down cultural and ideological lines, and Donald Trump has done nothing to bridge this divide and reunite this country. To the contrary, I would argue that Donald Trump has done more to exacerbate this division than any other politician. Divided is how he wants this country to be.
absolutely - the decision to ignore the Huntsville recommendation by Biden was a perfect example of favoring one color state over another.I get your point, but I also feel that this division was taking place starting in 2008.
trumpism was always fueled by division; unity is its Kryptonite.

There is so much inaccuracy in this take. It almost like you were being sarcastic. Research how Colorado was chosen over Huntsville.

Yall simply don't understand modern politics. The hyper partisan division started with trump. and if it didn't start with trump he made it worse. and if he didn't make it worse, it has never been this bad. and if it has been this bad, it okay when "my" side does it.You voted for a person who described half ot Trump supporters as deplorables.
unity is the Kryptonite for either party.trumpism was always fueled by division; unity is its Kryptonite.
there have been times when unity was kryptonite for America. The vote to attack Iraq under Bush was unifiedunity is the Kryptonite for either party.
what was the last move that either party made, while in power, that was actually reconciliatory to the other party?
its easy to complain about the other side dividing when you aren't in power to divide things the way you want.
Same fuel that say “impeach the mother’fer”? The night he won his first term.trumpism was always fueled by division; unity is its Kryptonite.
So the alleged attempt to kill Trump was unsuccessful due to him being quick enough to dodge a bullet and not poor aim. You got it bad.Same fuel that say “impeach the mother’fer”? The night he won his first term.
Same fuel that has liberals/progressives posting of his death?
Same fuel that was disappointed he was athletic enough to dodge a bullet?
Same fuel that MSM ran the Russian Collusion knowing it was lie?
