Gun confiscation requires a constitutional amendment. All of the other countries you are referring to require no such major legislative action. That is the actual state of the situationI suspect you’re trying to convince yourself rather than me.
As I said. It’s an issue other countries have solved. You just don’t like the solution.
You did leave off the constitutional protections for gun ownership here vs the countries you referenced. That is a HUGE thing to just ignore. What was available to legislators there simply is not available here. And won’t be in my lifetime I’d guess. Not disputing this.
You can tell yourself what you want, but it’s a problem other countries have basically solved.
Sure, mass shootings do happen in other countries, but it’s a shocking event instead of a repeated, expected occurrence.
Other than the instruments of murder,no. It's what I meant, guns are not the problem. When I was in High school it wasn't an issue to carry a gun in my truck. The thought of Randomly killing innocent kids never entered anyone's mind.If you melt your guns, that is exactly what it means. YOUR guns won't kill any kids. Of course YOUR guns won't kill any kids if you don't melt them.
So are guns really the problem here?
Never mentioned power bills, but lie on like always.Yes, the guy saying there would be $12 lettuce and magically wind power is going to make ones power bill go down is someone to listen too.
I haven't any knowledge about how much pollution manufacturing blades create, just as I don't know how much pollution is created drilling pumping, transporting oil. What do you do with the spent blades? How do you manufacture them without pollution?
Grok:I haven't any knowledge about how much pollution manufacturing blades create, just as I don't know how much pollution is created drilling pumping, transporting oil.
Disposal of blades is a rising concern as more are coming to the end of their useful life. Other than burning or burning blades I'm sure someone will come up with a way to recycle. How easy is it it to dispose of spent nuclear fuel?
The volume of spent nuclear fuel is relatively small: a typical 1,000 MW reactor produces about 20-30 metric tons of spent fuel annually, roughly equivalent to a few cubic meters.
Blades:
Material: Primarily fiberglass reinforced with epoxy or polyester resins, sometimes with carbon fiber or balsa wood cores. Blades are large (50-90 meters long) and non-biodegradable.
Disposal/Recycling: Blades are the most challenging component due to their composite materials, which are difficult to separate. Current disposal methods include:
Landfilling: Historically, many blades were sent to landfills, but this is increasingly criticized due to environmental concerns and limited landfill space. By 2050, the U.S. could face 2.2 million tons of blade waste if landfilling continues.
I am positive alternatives to burying will be found. I went to the article you are citing, and leaving out a lot of info that doesn't support your stance. It appears there is progress being made on recycling blades. Do you believe aircraft improvements ended at kitty hawk?Grok:
Nice talking to you. Peace.I am positive alternatives to burying will be found. I went to the article you are citing, and leaving out a lot of info that doesn't support your stance. Oakridge, TN has a lot of areas that will never be utilized due to radioactive waste. A lot of cancer cases in the area.
A few cubic meters say you, yeah that's nothing just dig a hole and bury, no problems.
Go make up some more numbers.
As a side note, my wife saw her family physician today, practicing over 35 years. His wife is on chemo and he requires a mask be worn in his presence to guard against taking home an infection. Don't you want to question his gender like you did mine?
It wouldn't matter who funded it, the tech isn't there yet. Even the best on the market barely reach 25%. They are finally reaching almost 50% in research panels using PV I believe. My father and another engineer at Kodak started a solar panel company in around 1981, I think it lasted 2 years.Wrong…well maybe free enterprise could provide better than 30% efficiency on the best of the best solar panels. I’ll give you that much.
Nah she's not a Russian shill or anything..

Tulsi Gabbard Under Fire for Reportedly Revealing Undercover CIA Agent’s Name on X: ‘Sackable Offense’

no one is above the law....the left took Trump to court (complete bogus case) over real estate fraud and tried to take all of his properties away from him and fine him a half billion dollars. Trump did what other developers do and the bank testified on Trump's behalf that the bank used its own valuations, Trump paid the loan back with interest as he did with other loans and the bank would be happy to do more loans with Trump.Justifying Trump's attempted takeover of the Fed with this garbage is so stupid
