President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

There should be a reasonable line. Maybe 8-12 weeks. With only medically necessary abortions after that point.

If you’re raped, morning after pill exists.
The "morning after pill" retort is stupid. We can't know what's going on in the mind of a woman the day after a rape. It's easy to ignorantly say, "she should have gotten a pill". Again, you can't possibly fathom what may be going on in her mind.

Cool. I’m willing to give her 11 weeks to get her mind sorted and have an abortion. After that, o well. She had morning after pills and 77 days all as valid options. Once week 12 starts, I have 0 interest in hearing any such stories.

You did. You found zero statements where a Republican stated the health of the mother was insignificant or less significant than that of the child.
No I didn't, but that's ok.

So not recognizing that rape could have traumatic effects on a woman's mental health because the child inside of her is a gift from God isn't indicative her health isn't significant?

No one denied rape has mental health effects. So does abortion.

You found zero examples. So now you’re pushing the goalposts to their absolute limits in an effort to pretend this fits the bill.

I don’t think they’ll ever be able to join NATO. I think that's been—from day one, I think that's been, that's I think what caused the war to start was when they started talking about joining NATO. If that weren't brought up, there would have been a much better chance that it wouldn’t have started.

Ok. I have some steaks to grill.

BTW, lots of people have a BS RN, NP and PA. You questioning me about my wife's credentials was silly, stupid and uninformed, but I did appreciate your diplomatic approach. I know the difference and wouldn't have stated it if it wasn't absolute fact. Given my wife's background and my Mother's second career as a hospital Administrator, I have some experience being closely aligned with those sort of details. That you were so certain I was mistaken was immature and low info on your part.

Have a nice evening, Pal

Weird you keep singling out Israel.
Well, I first became aware of the strangeness of their attitude toward childbirth and abortion when visiting several years ago. At that time, children up to 1 month old didn't routinely have burial rituals. It was as if they weren't a person until they were a month old. I believe that is less common now and having a funeral for a deceased infant is more common but yikes.

I expected better from "God's Chosen People" and still do.

As for your 11 weeks line, I'm personally conflicted by an embryo at 10 weeks and 6 days being expendable and an embryo at 10 weeks and 8 days being a person. On several levels that feels a bit weird.

Joining NATO is not an act of war. Even less of an act of war is “talking about joining NATO.” Guess what is an act of war?

Good thing abortion isn't murder, and even if it were, if according to the Supreme Court, police officers have no obligation to protect citizens, then the government has no business trying to protect a cluster of fetal cells in a woman's uterus.

Viability matters because you've picked date prior to viability to make it as hard as possible for a woman to get an abortion when even if she birthed the fetus 3 weeks later from your arbitrary date, it still wouldn't survive without major health issues.

You guys always rant and rave about getting the government out of your life except when it comes to forcing women to carry unwanted pregnancies to term, then all those "conservative" values go out the window.
I want the government out of my life

-And-

I have no desire to live in a land where the State forces a woman to carry

It's all about phrasing. I don't believe a rape victim should have to carry a fetus to term because they were unable to fend off being raped.

Crazy, I know.
It depends on how you view the sanctity of life. If life is sacred then that child is sacred. If not then who gives a **** what the murder rate is.... Gas everybody in prison

No one is claiming it magically becomes a person one day vs the next. I am claiming everyday that passes it becomes more and morally problematic and that there 100% needs to be a line.

You liked a post claiming what you called “PA” was actually a first assist. Which would obviously imply you don’t know what you’re talking about.

No, there’s not a lot of people who are both NPs and PAs. This would be like saying “a lot of MDs like to go through DO school too!”. Not a thing. Because it would be redundant.

The fact you included “NP and RN” shows your ignorance of the system in general because it’s redundant. To become an NP, you have to have previously been an RN.
