You failed to continue with this discussion. She nearly hyperventilated when she was told those paying the higher taxes would leave NY. She had not considered that as an option.
“But raising taxes in order to do it?! Why is that the answer?" the host asked.

The host shot back, "No, I'm worried that they're going to leave and spend their money elsewhere!"
Warren suggested those were just idle threats, and the host had to point out that, no, they are not.
"And they have!" the host explained. "And Goldman Sachs, when they create new jobs, they do it in Dallas. And Blackstone won't build a new headquarters. I could go on and on... but if you deal with them in that way, by what is always your backup, just tax them more, they will leave."
As clueless as the Senator appeared to be about the realities of the radical socialist Democrats' economic policies, she actually appeared worse when she praised Mamdani's attempts, she said, to make things like housing more "affordable" with his plans of freezing rent, free childcare, and government-run grocery stores.
