I gotta agree with this. I haven't seen anything from Teague that says to even put him in front of Gordon. Maybe when he switched to corner he was playing injured so....! I did like him at WR though or on offense as a multiple weapon! Safety seems like a better fit for him. He just doesn't change directions very quickly.

The change-of-direction lack of speed is a problem for CB. Unfortunately, not a lot of 5-10, 185 pound safeties who aren't real physical.

That could be interesting ... especially considering some of our DBs are big as LBs (BB, BMoore, Sapp, Wilks) and others known for being hitters (JJ, Randolph, maybe Martin and Loften). Lanier?

I keep hearing people say this, and that he was in the right spot. Imo its haters giving reasons to hate him and nothing more. At safety he is horrible, but at cb he is more than serviceable.

My whole thought on this is Thats what good CB are supposed to do, be in the right spot to make the play.
You can look at this two ways, either he was lucky or he's actually good!
I prefer to think he is good based on the fact he was in the right spot 5 time and had 3 pick 6s. He was beat or out of position on a few occasions, but to be tied for the team lead in INTs with one of the best S in the SEC, is pretty telling. He's really that good! He'll be alot better this year also.

I wonder where MHF is on the news that Moore is probably going to be switched to safety, and Hood looks better than Couch at DT?

Yes, he was in the right spot when QBs threw a ball away under pressure, but he was beaten often when he actually had to cover on a well run route and well thrown pass. Also can't tackle.

Waggner was solid at corner last year. Are the new guys really that much better than him?
