How about we just compromise and says the 2nd/3rd corner spots are still up for grabs and we won't know anything till late August?
Actually all corner spots are up for grabs. Just because Moore and Lanier have hype, don't mean that they will show out this Fall. We expect at least one of them too, but Moore is not guaranteed a spot when he hasn't proven anything yet.
PW is actually an average cb. He was just in the right place at right times last year

Actually, Wilks is in the two deep as of now. I don't think Anderson will play safety coaches seemed to be impressed with him at corner. If the reports of Lanier looking dominant are true, our three best corners (in no order) are Moore, Teague, and Lanier. I will find it hard to believe that Teague and Moore/Lanier aren't the starters to start off the season. I cannot overstate how much the coaches really like Teague as a corner.[/QUOTE]
Still no response where this "info" is coming from.
I am on record as saying that of all the guys who did not play CB well last year, Teague has the most upside given that he was going through a position switch.
You did not understand the point about Daniel Hood, so let me make it simple for you...Although the coaches RAVED about Daniel Hood at DT, he was playing there during the spring because Mo Couch was not on campus.
The coaches similarly liked Teague, who was playing without B Moore or I Lanier here. They are the starting CBs.

Couch is well behind Hood right now and is having trouble getting through workouts

If you wouldn't mind, I'd be interested in knowing where your info comes from?
I ask because you're always making proclamations "on the record," etc. and you seem so certain of your opinions. Do you just forcefully think Lanier will start, or do you have actual inside info?
Nice. So we can add you to the list of Lanier is fat and will not start also? Or do you just want to be the guy on record that Couch will not start over Hood?
If Couch is not starting in the fall, he died.
Back up, bigshot. I didn't mention Lanier. This isn't juco and you haven't seen Couch in pads on the field against an SEC oline yet, and you haven't seen if he can get through a practice. Yes he should start, but he's coming in as #2 in the rotation.
I guess you knew that Ayres would start games over Montori last year, didn't you.
