that's awesome! hope he does wellChris Richards starting for Bayern at LB today.
I think some of that was due to Klinsman’s influence years ago. It’s a great league to get time on the pitch and grow. I hate seeing US players with potential go to the EPL and ride the bench.that's awesome! hope he does well
side note: seems like we (the US) always have more players in Germany than other places like England where I would imagine we'd have more (even if not on the elite teams)
just counted:
bundesliga: 6
bundesliga 2: 2
EPL: 5
championship: 3

FIFA’s rules allow you to represent any country that you, one of your parents or one of your grandparents were born in. Due probably in large part to the longtime US military presence in Germany, there are a lot of guys who are technically “German” but are also eligible to play for the US. Klinsmann did a good job of identifying guys who met those requirements, but also weren’t good enough to realistically think they would ever get a look in for the German national team.I think some of that was due to Klinsman’s influence years ago. I’m pleased with Everton’s window. Completely remade the midfield. James on a free looks like a brilliant piece of business if he can stay remotely healthy. Added another CB. Brought in a keeper to give Pickford some competition. Managed to finally clear the awful Schneiderlin, Sandro Ramirez, Niasse and Martina contracts from the books. I did have higher hopes for Kieran Dowell, but after the midfield overhaul, he was never likely to get into the squad on a regular basis, so it probably made sense to go ahead and sell him.how do you think your team (and other teams) did in the transfer window?
